renjun groaned quietly in pain when he suddenly felt a cramp in his stomach. he was only sat on his bed while on his phone, so he was confused on why he was suddenly getting cramps. he sat up, hoping that being in a different position would help, but unfortunately all he got was another sharp pain.
he winced and placed his phone down on the bedside table before once again trying to get into a different position. after a lot of moving, he was eventually able to get into a position where it didn't hurt.
he sighed in relief and went to reach out for his phone until he suddenly got another cramp, making him huff in pain and frustration. he pulled his arm back and tried staying still instead, thinking that maybe it would go away after a while of staying in the same place.
he relaxed in the same place for around ten minutes, until he heard chenle dolphin screech that dinner was ready. he sighed and sat up as carefully as he could. he shuffled to the edge of the bed and put his feet over the side, slowly pushing himself off the bed and onto his feet.
he braced himself for another cramp, but was surprised when he didn't get one. but this time he didn't get his hopes up, and still walked carefully in case he randomly got one.
he ended up getting to the kitchen without getting anymore cramps, but once he got to where the other dream members were, he got another one and flinched, trying not to show that he was in pain. he didn't want to worry the others, especially since they most likely wouldn't know what to do.
his plan didn't go very well, and jaemin ended up noticing now he was leaning on the counter and seemed like he was very uncomfortable. they all grabbed their food except renjun and jaemin, but the older happened not to noticed that the younger hadn't left the room yet.
"hyung," he said, shocking renjun.
he turned around, letting go of the counter, completely forgetting about his cramps due to jaemin scaring him. he immediately regretted that once he felt another cramp, that was unfortunately worse than the others he had had. jaemin saw and was shocked but mostly worried for his hyung and walked over to him to try and help.
"hyung, what's wrong? are you okay?" jaemin asked.
"do i look okay to you?" renjun said, wincing.
the taller frowned and helped the older stand, before trying to look where the other members were without letting go of renjun. he was luckily able to see them in the living room and turned back to the chinese.
"do you want to go back to your room?" jaemin asked, not really caring what his response would be since he was going to bring him there anyway.
"no, i'm fine," he replied making the other roll his eyes.
"you basically just said that you weren't okay," he scoffed, "i'm taking you there anyway."
renjun sighed and gave in, making jaemin smile when he realised that he had won the argument. he then helped the older back to his room, not getting any attention from the members which made renjun relieved.
once they got to the room, jaemin brought him over to the bed and helped him lay down. he was about to leave and go tell the others what was going on, but then stopped in his tracks when he remembered something. he turned back around and faces the other.
"hyung," he said which gained the attention of the older who looked up and nodded.
"what is actually wrong with you? you never told me," jaemin said making renjun laugh a bit, but he immediately stopped himself when he got another cramp from it.
"i don't really know. randomly started getting these cramps a little while before I was called down for dinner," renjun told him and the other nodded, understanding.
"okay. you don't mind if i tell the others, right?" he then asked, not wanting to do it if he wasn't okay with it, "but they're going to find out eventually."
