all the wayv members were currently at dance practice. they had been there for a while now but they decided to carry on as long as they could since they still hadn't gotten the dance perfected yet.
the loud music played in the dance studio as the seven members danced along. it was all going well luckily and nothing bad had happened.
...that was until there was a loud thump that was only just heard over the music.
the members stopped dancing immediately, confused, and turned to where the noise came from to see what it was. and unfortunately they were greeted with hendery on the floor, a pained look on his face, holding his ankle.
lucas rushed over to turn the music off while the other members went over to hendery instead, to see what was wrong and if he was okay. lucas also instantly rushed over to the younger once he had turned the music off.
"hendery, what happened?" kun asked.
"i don't know..." he started, "... i was just dancing and suddenly my foot turned in a weird way."
"you've probably sprained or twisted it," the older said, "take your shoe off and let me have a look.
hendery did as he was told and took his shoe off, hissing in pain as he did so and sicheng rubbed his back, hoping that it would soothe him in some way.
"that's definitely a sprain..." ten muttered once he saw hendery's ankle.
it was swollen and red and it was obvious that it was a sprain and not twisted. hendery leant forward and looked at it, his nose scrunching in disgust when he saw it.
"it's definitely a sprain?" the injured male questioned.
kun nodded. "yeah it's only a sprain, don't worry. i just hope it's not a serious sprain," the leader faced him. "we have to take you to the hospital to get you checked out either way."
"do we have to?~" hendery whined.
"you're injured yet you still whine and complain," ten said and flicked him on the forehead, causing the other to reach his hand up and rub that spot. "but to answer your question, yes, we do have to go."
kun rolled his eyes playfully at how the two were acting, "come on, stop playing around now and let's get hendery to the hospital, okay?"
all of them nodded and lucas and xiaojun helped hendery up, yangyang and sicheng packed all the stuff away, and kun and ten went to get the car ready.

"so is he okay?" the leader asked the nurse.
"don't worry. he's completely fine. it's just a sprained ankle and luckily it isn't too serious," she told them with a warm smile.
"thank the lord... i don't think i would be able to survive if an injured and whiny hendery was going to be around for however long..." yangyang said making xiaojun scoff and laugh before hitting his shoulder.
"although he's fine, i wouldn't recommend him doing anything active or putting any weight on it. especially dancing. and to be honest, it'd be better if you didn't let him walk on it as much as you can since it will most likely heal quicker if he rests," she then explained to them and all of them nodded.
they knew that this was going to be a little bit of a problem because they still had a lot of stuff to do in the next couple weeks, and it was going to be hard to go everything with one less member, but hendery's health was way more important than anything else right now.
"can he go home?" ten then asked.
"oh yes! i completely forgot! he can go straight home once they've finished talking to him and getting him ready. they'll bring him out once they're done," the woman said before saying good bye and walking away.
they all sighed and sat in there seats, waiting for hendery to come back out.
lucas suddenly sat up straight. "yangyang, you know that hendery is still going to be whiny as hell though, right?"
