Frost had no idea how they were supposed to do this. This Chimera stood taller and stronger than any of the other beasts they had faced. It stood on its hind legs, and unlike the others, it had eyes but judging from how close they got it didn't have good vision. Its claws were like the size of swords.

"Okay, here's how we do this. Frost, you freeze his legs and make sure he doesn't move. Artemis, you take out his eyes. I'll eat his soul," Cole said. Agreeing on the plan, Artemis began to climb to a vantage point where she could snipe its eyes easily. Frost ran as fast as he could at the beast's legs. It tried to swing at him but he slid underneath its body, pressing his hands to each of its legs, enveloping them in ice. He heard the shots from Artemis and judging from the roar the Chimera made, its eyes were taken out. He just had to keep him in place, but it could still take steps just as easily as it normally could.

"Ah this isn't working!" Frost yelled, trying to freeze it but still having no luck. That was when it kicked him out from underneath it and sent him in front of it. It opened its mouth but instead of a roar, a red beam of heat exited its mouth. Frost barely had any time to dodge the attack. He turned to see the mark it made, and the ground was scorched.

"Don't let him hit you with that beam, it'll burn you into the ground," Frost warned. Cole tried to jump on it and sink its fangs into its neck, but the Chimera grabbed him and threw him down next to Frost. It charged up its beam again, forcing them to split up and take cover behind some debris.

"Anyone else have an idea?" Cole yelled, "I'm open to anything!"

Frost tried to penetrate its skin with ice blades, but the blades shattered on contact. If only there was a way to hit it from the inside out. Wait. Maybe there was.

"Artemis, get him to open his mouth. I've got an idea," Frost said. Artemis trusted him and set her weapon to full auto, peppering its face with bullets that just bounced right off. Sure enough, it turned to face her and opened its mouth, charging up the beam. Frost made an ice like ramp up to it and balanced on its bottom jaw. He put his left hand on the top jaw for support before plunging his hand into its mouth, using his ice to try and freeze it from the inside out. It held back the beam well, but the creature was still trying to close its jaw. He had to go colder, Colder. Down to absolute zero. He tried to focus on dropping his internal temperature, and it began to work. A light layer of ice started to form around him. He felt tired, like he was ready to stop. But it was still moving. It was still alive.

That was when he turned his eyes to the sky and saw the Overlord airborne before being slammed back back into the ground. A few seconds later a giant bolt of lightning struck the ground, signalling to him that Justin and Cade did their parts. He had to do his. He dropped the temperature down colder, and used his left hand to start laying a thick layer of ice around the Chimera. He felt himself drop down to what he believed was absolute zero, and used the last of his strength to force the ice inside of the beast, and it stood frozen in place, unmoving. He exhaled, seeing his breath in the air, before falling off of it and onto the ground, frost covering his body.

Artemis and Cole ran over to him, Cole telling him, "Hey you fuckin' did it. That was a great idea."

"Thanks. That shit sucked," he managed, letting them help him up and over to Cade.
