Pure hell

Nik POV:

I woke up to be in an empty darkness, my body felt like it was on fire and I was paralyzed. I couldn't talk just scream. I was all alone, no one to talk to, no one to help me. This isn't the after life? I've been there and this isn't it! The only explanation for it was hell. Whatever, wherever, I was I just hope Hope wasn't experiencing it either.

I started counting the days.

After about two months the pain got way worse. Something has gotten worse.

Hope POV

I woke up to have minor migraine, nothing else. I started walking around. About a week passed and I came across nothing. Finally, I heard screaming. It was a man, it was Nik. It had to be. If I was alive he should be too. But whenever I got close to it it would disappear. My mind was playing tricks on me. I cast a spell to give me some light so I could see better. But a portal tried to suck me up but I was met by Clarke.

Nik POV

The pain worsened 10x more than it ever did. Then I saw a blue light, a portal, in the far off distance. But I couldn't run to it or call out for it. But it had to be Hope.

Hope POV/

Clarke explained of how we were in malivore.

"Where's my brother?!" I yelled furiously

"Isn't that an obvious question?" He smirked at me.

"No now tell me!"

"He screams all the time. Malivore can't handle both of you. So Nik is suffering every minute of the day because you are here. Every time you use a spell, it will make it 10x worse for him." He explained before continuing "and from the sound of it, he's been awake for two months." He grinned at me.

He's lying, he doesn't want you to get out. Even if he wasn't lying Nik would want me to get out of here. That portal will get me out of here.

"How did that portal get here?!" I asked through gritted teeth.

"Isn't it obvious? By your magic, and you'll die right afterwards while your brother is in worse pain unlike any before."

"Too bad my brothers dead. ILLISIONT!" I yelled and I tuned invisible and the portal showed up.

I heard screaming, I'm sorry Nik. I jumped in the portal and everything went black.

Nik POV

Again I felt another pain, 20x worse than usual. Then I saw the portal again. But this time it was closer, and I could make out two figures. It's HOPE! I got to get her attention! I screamed louder than before and her head turned towards me but she was sucked through the portal.

As soon as she was gone all the pain went away. My body was numb after the constant 2 1/2 months of pain. I moved my hand. I could move again! "H-hello?" I tried talking and it worked. I could talk!!! This was heaven! I mean it was lonely but I could talk and walk! But... Hope needed me. Wherever she went. So I stood up, but collapsed to the ground. My legs wobbly. It looked like Hope used magic to get out so that what I needed to do.

"Lucuem." I said and a portal appeared and I was sucked into it.

I opened my eyes to be in the middle of town square, mystic falls. I was back! I needed to find Hope, and Josie, and Auntie bex, and Freya, and Keelin, and Baby Elijah, and Davina, and Kol, and marcel!!

I started running towards the school. I was drawn towards Josie I could feel it. I needed to tell her what I never told her the day I jumped into malivore, 'I love you Josie Saltzman.' . I walked towards the woods and I came upon the old mill. I looked and there was a movie playing. Then I saw it, Landon and Josie kissing.
