"Whats wrong?"

Nik hurried and woke up. Realizing he was going to be late. He looked Hope was here she must have left. "That little ..... WHY DJDNT SHE WAKE ME?" He said under his breath. It's ok he had 5 minutes to get ready and get to history. He got out of his sweats and hoodie. He threw on some black pants and socks. Put on deodorant. Brushed his teeth. then did his hair ,( his hair is fluffy so he just kind of combed through it), threw on his white long sleeve shirt and tied a green tie for some spice. He sprayed on cologne. He grabbed his phone, that they weren't aloud to have, and was ready to leave. Then... he looked down he didn't have shoes on. He threw on his shoes then got to class just barely on time. He looked at Hope out of breath, she snickered. He went and opened the seat next to her and sat next to her.

" Almost late in the first day Mr. Mikaelson?" The teacher said. Nik just being able to catch his breath managed to say "yes?" Wondering what to say. She just looked at home then started teaching. "So, I will assign you into partners and you will go sit with them and do your assignment." Nik didn't really care, him and Hope always got partners. Then the teacher said " Ms. Mikaelson and Ms. Park" Nik wondered who his partner was going to be. Then she said "Ms. Saltzman and Mr. Mikaelson" Nik looked at Josie she looked at him back then in sequel they looked at the teacher " before you say anything no changing partners, your assignment is due tomorrow by 8pm, I advise you snd your partner visit the library to do research." Everyone started scrambling to their seat.

Nik watched Hope get up and go to find Penelope. She since she knew he had liked her freshmen year, she didn't think he still did Josie walked up to Nik and he opened the chair for her and she sat down. It was very awkward, you could feel the tension. "So um, we got ester Mikaelson to do our assignment on" Josie said nervously. " Yea, I have her old grimoirs we might be able to find something in there." " Great". It was awkward then the bell rang.

Next was therapy. Nik tried to convince Dr. Saltzman that he didn't need it. Ric just said "After what you have been through, you could really need it, just try it" just like that him and Hope were seeing Emma tig. As he wakes through the doors Emma said "Hello Nik how has you say been?" He mumbled "It was good" she just replied with a smile and said "Have you been neglecting yourself from any emotional feelings?" Nik regretted telling her that last year, he then remembered Josie, he was trying so hard and made progress, " ummm no no I haven't" Emma replied with "Great, you've made some progress you know, would you like some tea?" " No thanks". Just like time flew by for 20 minutes. When she ordered Hope to come in. As they were passing he whispered into her ear "Have you been neglecting your feelings?" mocking ms.tig They both snicker at each other then Nik vanished.

He waited for Hope to get out since he had a free 20 minutes. Instead he saw Josie crying and heading up to her dorm. Nik was curious. She hadn't even seen him. He followed her silently until she reached her dorm the door was left open. She then yelled motus to shut the door. Nik could hear her sobbing through the door. He knocked on the door. She didn't answer just stopped. He then slowly walked in immediately regretting his decision. Her face lit up a little with confusion. "What are you doing, Lizzies not here." "Um I didn't come to see Lizzie, I came to see you, I saw you and wondered what was wrong" he said while slowly walking toward her with a face that asked "what's wrong, you don't mind if I stay don't you?" She then just started sobbing again.

Nik walked towards her then sat next to her he hesitated for a moment then he put an arm around her. "What are you doing here?" She said. "I don't know..." he replied. "What's wrong ?" She just replied with more sobbing but this time into his chest. He didn't care, he's had to do this with Hope before. He just started rubbing her back. She had fell asleep without telling him what was wrong. He let her stay there for 10 minutes before the bell rang. "Josie wake up." He watched as her eyes flickered open. Still full of sadness. "The bell just rang, I don't know if you want to go to class." She nodded yes Nik then went and grabbed a tissue as they left for history.

They both walked into class in sequel. Hope gave Nik an confused look as he went and sat down next to her. Lizzie by the looks of it looked pissed as she though Nik and Josie have been.... "What was that?" Lizzie asked Josie as she sat down next to her " what was what?" "That" Lizzie said while pointing to Nik. "Don't tell me you guys were..." "Ew no, never." "Okay good, I would be so pissed if you were." Lizzie looked away as Josie thought about Nik. Maybe he wasn't so bad.

Hope just looked at Nik then at Josie then back to Nik. Nik noticed and asked what she was doing. Hope just started to snicker then did it again. Nik then realized what she was looking at. "Can you cut it out." "Mr.Mikaelson that would be detention for talking." Hope then said "Were you and Josie doing it??" In Morse code. He replied with "No"in Morse code. Something that they had decided to learn so they could talk to each other. "Then what were you guys doing?" He replied with "I saw her crying while I was waiting for you, I followed into her dorm and did what I do with you..." Hope looked at him. "Why was she crying?" "I don't know, I asked but she didn't reply just started crying more." They started doing their work. When suddenly....

"God penolpe can you just shut the fuck up!" Josie growled at her. "Why it's not my fault you were sleeping with Nik." Penelope said with a smirk. Everyone turned towards Nik Mikaelson He was just as confused as everyone else. Then both Josie and Nik said " We weren't". Then Lizzie said "Then what were you two doing?" Josie was just about to speak when Nik interrupted her and said " I was asking her what time we should meet in the library to do our assignment." Josie just shook her head thankful he didn't say the truth. Class flew by then they were at lunch. Nik wrote a note that said "meet me in the library at 8:00" and sent it on it's way to find Josie.

Josie and been sitting with Lizzie. When the note came and and hit her in the back of her head. She opened the note. She smiled when she realized it was form Nik. "Who was that from!" Lizzie asked. "No one, it's empty," she showed her the note, it was empty.
