My mom says I'm lots of trouble. Sometimes I don't agree with her, but today was one of the days that I did. I didn't tell her why I was excited until we got all the way home.
Once we did get home, I quickly ran up to my room to get my laptop. I got downstairs and set my stuff up by the time my mom walked in the door. "My, are you enthusiastic about whatever this is," my mom stated. "Yep, 100% excited." I replied. "While you wait for your father to get home, I'm going to go change out of these clothes." mom said. "K," I said.
When my dad got home, he was actually in a very good mood. Apparently at work, he got a promotion! Yay! "So," I said when my family was all ready to hear my proposal. " Today at school, I had an exciting idea." I paused for a second. "Continue!" my brother responded. "Anyway, I had an idea to get our required service hours for school. Wait for it................................. hosting/ training a guide dog! All of my family members looked different. My little sister Grace was as excited as she is on Christmas. My brothers thougth that would be cool, but weren't sure about it. My mom was deep in thought, and my dad was confused but finnaly just looked towards mom's direction to see what she thought. At dinner, barely anyone spoke about my idea. They just had normal, every day conversations. After that, I wondered if they even remembered my idea. They acted like I hadn't even said anything at all.
The next day, there was a new girl at school. She was shadowing , Marlee, the meanest of the mean girls. Oh, that is going to turn out terribly...
