My mom says I'm trouble, I don't always agree with her but this time was different. I made her wait to tell her the good news until we got all the way home. But, I didn't really feel that bad, because I was in such an amazing mood. Even when I walked in side my house, the sound of complaning didn't even darken my mood.
When we got home, I quick ran to my room to get the good news. I quick grabbed a brouchere off my desk, and hi-tailed it to the dining room where my family was waiting for me to eat dinner. I probably looked very goofy to my family with a cheesy grin spread across my face. But, I had other things to think about. When I quickly sat down, my dad said thanks and we all started to eat. Dinner was very good that evening. It was a beef roast, with carrots and mashed potatoes. YUM! When most of my brother's plates were empty, I cleared my throat to get my family's attention.
"Mom, Dad, Troy, Ryan, and Grace," I said. I got alot of "okays" and "yeas" and "whats" from my family and I continued. " Today I have exciting news. There was a visitor at school today, and her name was Sarah. Sarah has an interesting job. She is one of the most luckiest people I have eveer met. She has the best job on the face of the world." I paused for a moment to let that sink in. "So?" Ryan commented. "So..." I said. "She is a guide dog trainer in Sacramento, CA." "Ohhhh," my mom said. "Christina, where are you going with this?" Dad said. "Well, I wanted to host a baby guide dog until its ready to go to the training facilty!" I said excitedly. I looked around at all the faces in the room. Or course my little sister Grace was so happy with the word "puppy", she had a big thumbs up. Ryan looked deep in thought thinking if he should be excited too. Troy, I don't think wanted to do it, because the look I got from him, was of death. Okay, just because I asked a question dosen't mean go all death stare on me. Mom and Dad were doing this thing where they talk with their faces. Mom would give dad a look, then dad would return the favor. It was like a mind reading game. Werid.
By the end of dinner no one had barely spoken, except for Grace who was talking to herself in joy. And, I still couldn't figure out what mom and dad were thinking about the whole dog thing. Any way, no time to think about it now. It was time to sleep.
