The entire room became silent for a few moments, still not understanding completly what had just occured, Sirin's whole body was shaking in fear, a moment ago she wouldn't even have thought that Val would have any power at all, yet this power felt... strangely familiar to her.

Val took a deep breath and sighed, his eyes went back to their normal dark brown and the ominous power around him completly disapeared.
He then leaned against the wall and sank to the floor as if all power had just left him, leaving him even more tired then usual.
"Sh*t, I couldn't supress enough of it... are you guys alright? Did I hurt anyone?"

Noone answered, everyones look was on Val, in that moment, mere seconds felt like eternity. He avoided looking at them, feelings of guilt began to creep up on him...

Finally Theresa stood up, the other Valkeries looked at her, however she ignored them, she was much more worried about Val right now as she finally caught her breath and ended the silence.
"Val, you know what that power can do to you right?!" she shouted, he looked at her, but immeadietly averted his gaze from Theresa, unable to look her in the eyes. He frowned as the attention turned back to him.
Theresa was the only other person here who knew about him, his past and of course his powers. He began to explain...
"I know...I just had to..."
...However, he didn't finish his response and fell silent again.

He looked at Sirin who didn't seem like she was calming down, when he looked at her, she froze in place, despite the presence gone, her body was still shaking, her eyes open wide in confusion and horror. She couldn't even get herself to move...sure, Val hadn't exacktly hurt her, but the Voice, the lifeless eyes, the ominous presence and the way he had just acted, something about it....terrified her.

"What was that Val?!!!"
Kiana shouted, she was shaken aswell, yet she found the strength to stand up and ask.

Val slumped his shoulders and let his head hang down, then let out a heavy sigh.
"Something you weren't supposed to see... but oh well."

Sirin tried to pull herself together and make sense of what he just said, then a for her obvious idea came to her.
"Are... are you a herrscher by any chance?"

He shook his head, still looking to the floor.
"Nah, I know it kinda looks like that, but no...they were supposed to be though...kinda."

"What do you mean *kinda*?"
He shrugged, everyone except for Sirin began to stand up, she was unsure of his answer, so she tried to figure out what the deal with him was.

The Rest of the Crew had different reactions, while Himeko and Bronya silently accepted it, Kiana glared at Sirin, thinking that she was responsible for his "condition". Theresa looked away, head to the ground.
Mei however walked over to him and reasuringly put her hand on Val's shoulder.
"Are you alright Val?, maybe you want to talk about it? I'm sure we can solve this if you tell us."

He looked up at her, her eyes reflected her own secrecy, her loneliness and fear from her time before and as herrscher of thunder, the fear to hurt the ones she cares for, the fear of losing Control, the outcast she had been because of things she no control of and secrets she was keeping from her friends.
But Val only saw pity and worry coming from her, something he didn't want...ever again. However he just shrugged and put on his usual smile.
"Nah I'm good, I just couldn't fully control my power, since I don't use it that often, that's all."

"I see...Well I will make lunch, who is with me?"
Mei sighed, she wouldn't push the topic, she knew how it was, having to handle such a thing, however she also decided to watch him closely whenever she could, just in case. The Valkeries happily joined in, welcoming the distraction, only Val, Sirin and Theresa stayed behind, however Val didn't pay attention to her at all, instead he turned around and faced Sirin again, he held out his hand to her to help her up.
"Hey, I'm sorry about that, I really don't know what came over me, I'll explain everything later ok, just not now. But I'll tell you ok?"
Sirin hesitated, she still felt like she could trust him, but she couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy about it nevertheless. Seeing her hesitate, Val sighed but didn't retrack his hand.

"Look, I get it if your scared of me now, believe me, you're not the first one to be and you certaintly won't be the last, myself included, but I want you at least to know that I do not wish to harm you and I believe that if we sit down and talk we can all work something out, we can all live together just...try it. They're not bad people, they're actually pretty nice once you get to know them and hey !, you're not the first herrscher that we had here, they just need to get used to you and-"

"Enough!"
Val and Sirin looked each other in the eyes, he saw no anger coming from her and her fear was shrinking, not gone, not at all, but not enough to scare her off anymore. Surprisingly she went back to her normal self again.

"Me ? Scared of you?
hmph, don't make me laugh. I was merely unpleasently surprised, nothing more."

Val sighed heavily, his frustation about her stoic manner was slightly audible, but he couldn't deny that he was glad about it for once. Sirin took ahold of Val's hand and he helped her up to her feet. She directly began floating again, bringing herself up to Val's eye level and smirked widely.
"I am a herrscher, remember that, so of course I won't be intimidated by the likes of you, but I thought you already knew that."

"Of course, how could I forget"
Val rolled with his eyes, asking himself why he worried in the first place, Sirin however just ignored him as she continued.

"Exactly!
You better remember from now on and in regard of your friends, I am not going to play friend, however I am not opposed to a temporary truce, for now at least."

" Yeah, that's good enough for me"
Val gave her a thumbs up and a weak smile showed on his face. At that moment Theresa approached Val and Sirin, she tapped Val on the shoulder and he turned to her
"What's up principal, something the matter?"

Val said, but inside he already knew what was coming, as he prepared himself for a proper lecture from her.

"I need to talk to you. In private."
Her serious tone allowed no objection. Val just shrugged. he was used to it by now.
"Alrighty teach', we can do that. Umm Sirin?"

"Yeah, yeah I get it, I'm going, I'll be my room."
Sirin left without waiting for a response and left floating away in her usual manner leaving Theresa and Val alone in the room.
