Later that Evening, Val, Sirin and the rest of the Valkeries were eating dinner and despite the presence of Sirin nearly everyone would talk about the most normal of topics, new recipes that Mei discovered, a new game bronya decided to get, etc...

...The only one's that didn't participate at all were Kiana and Sirin. Kiana was for once not in the mood to, while Sirin just didn't even really know anyone except for Val, so she just stood silent.

"Umm...could I please have your attention for a moment?"
Theresa stood up on the chair, so that everyone could see her, curious of what she had to say, everyone stopped talking and turned to her. Theresa climbed on her chair so everyone could see her, then stared nervously her around her then she took a deep breath before speaking up.
"I regret to tell you that I will have to step down from my position as Head of far east branch, for now Val will take over...don't worry I will make sure everything goes smoothly."

While she continued to tell everyone about the details of her situation and how exactly Val was going to take over for her, while everyone silently listened, Theresa had caused a lot of surprise and confusion for everyone except Sirin and Kiana of course, however Sirin saw her chance for herself and...
"That's not even the worst thing you know, they hid something way bigger from us..."
Everyone turned to her, Val's eyes wide open, fearing what she knew, but maybe it was time...

She then pointed at Theresa, then at Val respectively, unbelievable confidence in her voice as she shouted
"She is his mother!!!"

"Pfffft!!!" Theresa who had been drinking her favorite bitter melon juice spat it all out...all over himeko who sat next to her in a new uniform of course.
"Hey, don't drench me in your juice~!!!"

"PHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
Val however broke in hysterical laughter, whatever he expected, it definitely wasn't this, not that he would complain, it definitely was a nice refreshing surprise, while the rest began to rumble wildly.

"Excuse Bronya, but what? That is by no biological means possible, The bronya objects"

"But it's true!!! I heard him call her Mom!" Sirin yelled back over the ruckus and for once Bronya became unusualy talkative to object Sirin's revelation with an even less common expression of disbelief and denial, while himeko seemed to be hooked on the gossip...or she was mad at Theresa for spilling her bitter melon juice, regardless she vividly joined in.
"Oh my my, principal, is that your big secret, maybe that's the reason you forbide me to date our captain? hmm?~"

Theresa wildly shook her head in denial, while also making herself smaller to escape the questioning looks on everyone's faces. Val was still laughing, even if only a bit, before speaking up.
"Hehehe, that was a good laugh...Listen guys, it's not exactly as you may think...

Everyone's eyes now turned to him,  awaiting an answer to this scandalous question.
"...you see guy's, I do call her Mom, but that's because Theresa more or less adopted me, so- "

"See I told you!"
Kiana shouts to Sirin, puffing out her chest to strike a victory pose, who in return seated herself back on her chair while making herself as small as possible with a quiet and pouty "How should I have known" not daring to say another word.

"Congratulations subject Kiana, subject Kiana is no longer the only idiotka on the ship and hereby the bronya will call subject Sirin subject *Sirin Idiotka* from now on"
Bronya nonchalantly added, which in return Kiana angrily grumbled, while Sirin, even though she stood quiet, angrily glared at bronya, which she noticed, yet ignored like it was the most normal thing in the world.

"Excuse me, but I do believe that I am better then a certain purple haired brat!!! That's low, even for you!"

"Oh just you wait what that "brat" can do to your jaw you ungrateful insect"
