the night dare ventures
into the creases of the unknown
sources that seemingly spring forth from
the brain's expanding universes
possibilities that seem to never exist
but somehow are breathed life into
by the night, the dark and the alone
perhaps the sunlight can come by soon
and scorch these thoughts away
burn them into oblivion, they say
but they come back as soon as
the sun comes down
