A/n: This chapter is so short and I'm so sorry about it omg! Thank you guys again for over 300 reads, we're also number 70 under #chrisevans?? Crazy. Anyways this is basically pure foreshadowing and characterization (my English teacher would be proud lol). I hope you guys are still liking the series!

For halftime, you three had been called into the family room to "join the conversation".

"So, Chris, is there any lucky lady in your life?" Tom asked

"No, no not currently. Hopefully soon though because I do want a family at some point"

"Big family?"

"Oh, yeah,"

TAKE MY OVARIES PLEASE

"I remember being stressed about meeting the one too, I wanted a family and it felt like I would never find a girl that was right, you know? But she'll come, and you'll know it, you always know it" Tom said as the other, married men in the room nodded in agreement.

"Never ignore that feeling, I almost did that with my wife because I was scared and I didn't trust myself that she was the one, biggest regret of my life was not marrying her sooner" Your dad said, and you swore you could see him glance for the shortest second at you with a nervous look.

Is that why he cares about me so much? Did he get that feeling? No, get out of your dreams, y/n

You were surprised that by the end of the night, Chris and Tom seemed genuinely by getting along, maybe they would even become friends.

But then, if they become friends, Chris might become famous, and maybe he'll want to act again and he'll marry some hot actor that he actually has feelings for. No, that probably won't happen.

The conversation hit a lull as the game came back on, and never really returned until everyone exchanged goodbyes.

"Bye, Dodge!" You said as you gave him one last head scratch. Whenever Dodger came over, he was like glue to Chris, never acknowledging you or your family dog, Atlas.

But who would ever leave Chris' side once they found it?
