Hah hah I can't describe clothes for the life of me. Yknow what, I tried my best though.

The car ride to the mall was the perfect way for Sunset to get control over her emotions. Sure, Twilight was sitting beside her, but it wasn't like they were able to look at each other and make eye contact. And since Sunset was busy, neither of them felt the need to talk.

They arrived and walked into one of the numerous shops.

"What are you looking for exactly?" Sunset asked. "A dress, or like a blouse and skirt?"

"I liked the dress from last time, but I think the skirt would be more practical. I don't really know what kind of date we're going on this time," Twilight explained.

"Ooh, is it a surprise?"

She didn't even have to fake her enthusiasm.

"Uh, I don't think?"

She hummed as she sorted through the racks. While Twilight was around the same height as her, she was also skinnier, so Sunset couldn't just use her own size as a comparison. Then again, clothes that would fit her own body were much harder to find.

"I like that shade of light pink..." Twilight said. "Uh, sorry, I'm not really that good with clothing and stuff, it's why I'm relying on your judgment."

"Nah, it's fine. I mean, we had clothing in Equestria, but most ponies didn't wear any. It took me years to figure out how fashion worked." She picked up the blouse and held it between them, so she could look at how it worked with her skin tone. It worked well. "Also yeah, I was thinking about having you try on that one. If you find something you like, just tell me."

"Thank you. Do you want me to try it on now?"

Sunset nodded. "Yeah, probably. I can go look at another while waiting. Uh... what's our budget for today?"

"Expensive. And unlike you I got my money from legal means."

"Um, rude. I thought we agreed to not speak of that."

Twilight grinned. "I changed my mind. I couldn't not bring it up again."

"Wow, betrayed by my very best friend. How long do you want the skirt to be?"

She already knew the answer, but just wanted to make sure.

"I like the long flow-y ones."

"Ooh, those are fun. Also, you'll be fine changing, right?"

Twilight nodded. "Telekinesis should work fine. If I need you I'll call for you."

Sunset nodded, as Twilight turned to get to a dressing room. Sunset went over to the skirts, eyes landing on a midnight blue skirt. When she picked it up, she noticed smaller details, such as the silver sparkles.

Stars, aren't they? That's good, Twilight will like that. Man, this is difficult. But maybe it won't have to be like this...

She shook her head to clear it, then went over to give the skirt to Twilight. She was about to go look for other clothing, when her phone buzzed in her pocket.

The anticipation grew stronger, and she was delighted to see that the text was from Timber.

Sure! I'll let you know! Pbly in a few days

She knew she shouldn't get her hopes up, but she couldn't help herself.

K thanks! She replied.
