Breaking his request to stay in the room you go outside into the hotel hallway and make your way toward the stairs to see if you can spot him atleast.

You're saved from having to do so when he comes through the doors from the stairway.

"Damian!" You say hugging him.

"London, why aren't you in the room?" He asks.

"It started raining and I got worried." You answer.

"It's just a little water." He assures.

"I know that but it's you being outside cold and wet. I don't want you having to be in that or getting sick." You reply.

"Thank you." He says sincerely.

"You're welcome. So, how's the car?" You ask.

"Battery is dead. It'll have to be towed to town. Earliest they can do it is tomorrow morning." He answers.

"So we're spending the night here." You reply.

"It's not that bad." He says.

The lights go out.

"Great." You say. You feel alongside the wall to return to your room in the darkness. Damian takes you by the hand "It's this way." He chuckles.

"How can you tell?" You ask.

He laughs, "You're asking me how I can see in darkness?" He asks.

"Question of the day." You laugh.

Upon returning to the room you're alarmed by a scream down the hall. "Wait here." Damian says.

He leaves to the scream. You follow without his noticing. Yes he's bigger and stronger than you, but you're not letting him go alone to what is obviously danger. Not again atleast.

You see a familiar face at the end of the hall. They're only visible because some moonlight managed to seep into the hallway from their room window.

"Ruby?" You inquire.

"London, Damian?" She asks.

"What's wrong? We heard you scream and came to help." You say.

"It wasn't me. I came to see what it was too." She replies.

"Can we get any sleep in this place?" You hear. Everyone rolls their eyes simultaneously.

"Excuse me! I asked a question!" Carmella says snapping her fingers.

"We heard you okay? We're just as clueless as you are. Just less air headed." Ruby replies.

You chuckle and Carmella shoots you a stare.

"Brooooo what's the commotion?" Someone asks shinning a flashlight into everyone's eyes.

"Someone is screaming like a maniac." Carmella replies.

"What?!" The innkeeper gasps.

Ruby lowers his flashlight, "That's not needed." She insists.

He shuts it off, "Sorry about the lights. Lightning struck a pole." He says.

"And you don't have a generator?" Carmella asks.

"Yeah we do actually! The lightning struck it too." The innkeeper answers.

"Well I'm sorry I'm not paying to live somewhere with no electricity." Carmella replies.

"The computer to process a refund is kinda powered by electricity." The innkeeper replies.
