"Here you are Mr and Mrs Priest." The server smiles settling your and Damian's food on the table. You offer a nod and a thank you, Damian raises an eyebrow at the woman. "I didn't tell her we were married." He explains. "She probably thought we were since you reserved the honeymoon booth." You say putting a napkin on your lap. "It's okay, baby. Besides, look how good your food looks." You say putting your hand on his. He smiles, "I always order this when I come here. They have the best steak in---well everywhere." He exclaims. You focus on your own plate but the buttery smooth cut he makes into the steak isn't lost on you. He doesn't even have to chew it a million times either...... He closes his eyes and savors it. Shaking his head, "Never gets old." He laughs. You turn back to your own food. It looks delicious but order regret comes on with a vengeance. "How was the meeting?" You ask. Cutting your food and not daring to ask for any of his steak. It was expensive and they gave him a minuscule portion. "It was good. We talked business." He explains. "What kind of business?" You ask curiously. "Well, the annual Archer convention is coming up and we haven't booked a castle yet. We have a lot of things planned. A luncheon, an initiative summit, a training session with archery, a blood feast." He explains. You almost spit out your drink but compose yourself. "Are you okay?" He asks. "I'm fine. I just--I just saw a weird-looking seagull fly by." You lie. "Hmm." He utters looking into the distance. "Damian, did you say Blood feast?" You ask. "Why yes, I did. We have blood sausage and drink red wine. It's supposed to be a homage to the original Archer. Kane." He answers. "You know, I've never heard of how Archers came into existence." You say. "Well then, sit back, relax, and I'll tell you." He offers. You get comfortable.

"In the year 1966, there was a massive fire at a home in Death Valley. There weren't many homes on the plains because the desert was notoriously inhospitable to most things, let alone people. The fire started at the stroke of midnight on Halloween and raged well into the day. Water being scarce, none of the settlers could bare to waste what little they had to put the fire out. Well, as fate would have it a rare rain washed over the town putting the fire out before it could spread to other homes. Yet, when the homeowners were finally able to go inside they feared all was lost. That is until they heard crying. Within the charred rubble laid a baby. Completely unharmed and as fair as if he'd just been born. No one in the town knew where the baby came from or how he'd managed to be inside the home when it was just ablaze for over 12 hours. Not to mention surrounded by onlookers. Having no known parents, the homeowners took the baby in. He was after all a beautiful baby boy. They named him Kane. While his name was not the only thing given to the young boy as a show of affection from his parents. He became problematic at a young age. You see, he was a pyromaniac. He loved fire. He'd set whatever he could ablaze and when something burned without his doing, he'd marvel in it. Laughing as the flames raged. While his parents desperately tried to raise him with as much love and understanding as they could muster, all of that came to a head when he lit their home on fire. With their other son inside. As the fire that took place 15 years prior, there was no means to stop it. Kane's parents were riddled with grief. So much so they couldn't bare to look at Kane, let alone offer him forgiveness. He was cast out of the town at the age of 15 with nowhere to go and nothing beyond the clothes on his back. Yet, something unimaginable happened. His brother who was presumed to have perished in the fire, mysteriously reappeared the day after he was laid to rest. He seemed fine. No burns, no disfigurement, nothing to show from what had occurred. The only difference is that the boy no longer wanted to be called his birth name, Abel. He wanted to be identified by his new job within the town. The Undertaker. As he believed his name was no longer his to claim. The Undertaker lived a normal life to the knowledge of most within the town. Though he chose to live just beyond the main structure of the town deep within the sandy caves nearby. Despite The Undertaker surviving and his parents forgiving his brother, Kane never returned. His parents never forgave themselves for casting him away so hastily. Although little did they know. Kane was striving. He became a bounty hunter with unmatched marksmanship. It was said that when he drew his bow, the target's fate had already been sealed.  With such a reputation as his, he went on to develop a fellowship. Resembling that of a cult. The cult was named The Archers Of Destruction. Each member had their own title. Gifted to them by Kane. My father's name was Davion, Archer Of Notoriety. He loved fast cars, beautiful women, and as much money as he could possibly possess. In his entire life, the only fight he ever lost was to Edge. The fight was for the crown of King of The Archers. Edge had defeated Gangrel years before, who defeated Kane years before that. So on and so forth. The winner of these prestigious duels would be crowned, obviously. While Archers were, and are, sought after for many reasons. They have a sole, undeterred weakness. Their Princess. Princesses aren't like those in the movies. They aren't damsels in distress even though the structure of Archer interactions with them would suggest. They have a very long history of being able to hold their own and kick ass."

Damian elaborates. He feeds you a piece of his steak, seeing you having eyed it. "Thank you! What about Princesses, who was the original princess?" You ask, still savoring the entree.

"The original Princess was Miss Elizabeth. A beautiful charismatic woman who was said to be able to win the heart of any man she set her gaze on. She was defeated in a duel with Sable. Sable was defeated by Lita. Lita was defeated by Stephanie Mcmahon. Stephanie Mcmahon was defeated by Nicki Bella. Nicki Bella was defeated by Becky Lynch...." He begins. "What happened to Becky?" You ask. Damian sighs, "She was defeated in an unfair duel, by Alexa Bliss." He reveals. "So, you mean to tell me. Alexa Bliss is the most powerful Princess in existence?" You ask. "She's supposed to be the most powerful, but she has a fatal flaw. She didn't win by the Princess Guard standards. She couldn't extract all of Becky's power and some of it was lost to space and time." He answers. "What does that mean?" You ask. "Alexa is incomplete. She is powerful but she doesn't possess all of the power she should. Becky's power was extracted but it dissolved." He answers. "If the information the Archer's believe is true and what we think Alexa is doing is correct it could be catastrophic for the Princesses.

We believe that Alexa is draining the power from every  Princesses individually  to try to make herself whole. She doesn't have to drain them all to become powerful beyond comprehension. She'll reach that level long before they're all drained. We as Archer have watched from afar because it is not physically possible for us to harm  a Princess. Therefore we can't fight her." He reveals.

You sit your fork down and wipe your mouth, "Well, you won't have to fight her because I'll bring the hell of every Archer and every Princess she's attacked to her doorstep for you." You say. He smiles, "Toast to that?" He offers. You raise your glass and toast him.
