You pour a generous amount of fudge on top of Pete and Bayley's vegan lava cakes and sprinkle the cakes with powdered sugar. It's a momentous occasion, you've baked something from scratch and it looks just like the box it came in.

As you plate them you're halted by a severe headache. It's so strong you stumble backward. You shake it off and deliver the cakes as intended. Thinking little of the momentary inconvenience. Nevertheless, Pete and Bayley are too busy talking to even notice you've brought the cakes out and have retrieved their used plates.

As you wash them, the headache returns with vengeance. With it, a flood of unfamiliar memories.

You gasp as the montage of faux moments ends. All of them are clear and vivid, battling your true memories for supremacy.

"London?" You hear, it shocks you back to reality.

"Yes?" You answer.

"Hey, I have to scratch our plans for tonight. I have an impromptu poker game and you know how those tournaments are." Ricochet says.

"You miss one you lose your spot, Baron Corbin is as strict as it gets." You reply.

He laughs, "It'll be fun though." He reminds.

"I don't doubt it will be. Be safe and have fun." You say. You kiss his cheek and watch him to his car. You wave as it leaves the yard.
The minute the car is out of sight the headaches slowly creep in again.

With them, the realization that you have no idea what you just did or said. You shouldn't know about the tournaments and you wouldn't have naturally spoken to Ricochet that way.

The headaches continue as the night progresses. They intensify so much that you're left stumbling and disoriented. At some point, you completely pass out.

You wake up in a dark and seemingly endless hallway

You wake up in a dark and seemingly endless hallway. There is no end in either direction and the doors along it are all sealed and unable to be opened. You begin walking down it calmly enough, but as it continues on the panic sets in. You start to run but it doesn't make a difference.

It's only when you tire and fully begin to panic do the lights start to blink as the hallway starts to shift and sway. The floor becomes the wall, then the ceiling. You're being spun around with no semblance of footing.

The hallway grows blindingly bright as you shield your eyes

The hallway grows blindingly bright as you shield your eyes. When it fades you're in a white room with a woman sitting with her back to you. You see a number of orbs floating around her as she sings a song,

"He has the whole world in his hands."

"Excuse me, who are you?" You ask.

She turns to you and you're left in utter shock. She's you.

"Wh--who are you?!" You ask.

"I am Y/N." She answers.

"I'm Y/N." You reply.

"You're London. I am Y/N," She says.

"My name is Y/N, London is my ring name." You clarify.

"Or it was." You hear a gravelly voice intervene.

You turn around to find half of the room now darkened. It's black and void of anything outside of a man.

"What do you mean?" You ask.

"You've been in this world for quite a while, how do you like it?" He asks.

"I want to go home." You answer assuredly.

"Why?" He asks.

"Because it's where I belong." You answer.

"You wished for this world, and now you want to abandon it?" He laughs.

"This isn't what I asked for I asked for----" You begin.

"I KNOW WHAT YOU ASKED FOR!" He roars in a horrifying voice.

He recomposes himself, "I've seen it all. For better and worse." He says. He raises his eyes and you finally see beneath the brim of his hat. "What I want to know is, are you ready to abandon this world?" He asks.

You hesitate and look back to Y/N. She watches curiously.

"Yes." You decide.

He smiles, "I require a fee to oversee your passage." He reveals.

"What do you need?" You ask.

An arrow appears in your chest. It glows brightly and is shrouded with glittering light. There's a string on the end leading far into the distance. It is not painful in the slightest, you can't even feel it.

"I want your arrow." He declares.

Y/N begins to say something and he pushes her against the wall with a lift of his hand. This vehemently angers you, "Leave her alone!" You yell.

"Why do you care about her?! You don't even know what she is."He replies.

"I don't need to know. She didn't do anything to deserve that!" You reply. The end of the arrow blackens and the light around it becomes a deep red.

"What did you do to it?" You ask.

He raises his hands innocently, "I've done nothing. It was you." He answers.

You shake your head and go to check on Y/N. She seems okay but she's shaken up.

"You can't keep her, I'm taking her with me." You say.

"Oh, ambitious are we?" He asks.

"Come on." You say helping Y/N up.

"She can't leave because she's not a person." He replies. "She is you in your perfect form. Happy, free, and at your most powerful. You defend her, yet she is far stronger than you." He reveals.

You don't reply to him, turning to Y/N instead, "If you can fight him and win, why won't you?" You ask.

"If I beat him the barrier between the worlds will be destroyed and---" She begins.

"And what?" The man asks. "Tell her!"

She shutters at him shouting.

Your arrow grows darker.

"It's okay." You assure her warmly.

She nods, "If the barrier closes, you won't be a Princess anymore and you'll lose Damian forever. The real Damian that loves you so much." She says.

The man laughs loudly, "You'd sacrifice everything for a man. A man that broke up with you over something trivial." He taunts.

You clench your fist and he stops laughing.

"I understand now." You say.

"I know it's you, Alexa!" You reply.

The man dissolves and Alexa appears in his spot.

"You're the reason all of this has happened and it was all because you wanted my arrow." You say.

She continues to scowl at you.

"The next time I see you, I'll be Y/N......and I'm going to kick your ass!" You warn.

She angrily pushes you backward.

You're thrown down the full length of the hallway and wake up on the kitchen floor.

You've returned to reality, but the gauntlet has been thrown.

Alexa is your true adversary and you have something she wants dearly.
