omfg , was Ricardo really doing this again .I ran downstairs to see Jc and my brother dancing .

oh gosh , I did not wanna see that ...

"Rico , can you lower the music ? Some people are trying to sleep here " I tried to say over the music .

" umm , excuse me did you say something ? "

" I said lower the music , I'm trying to sleep ."

"Honey boo , is 3 in the afternoon . What are you doing sleeping ?" Jc said chuckling .

Ricardo elbowed him and agreed to lower the music .

He knew exactly what had been going on these past few days . Heartbreak wasn't an easy thing to deal with . Especially when it was caused because of cheating .

I went back upstairs and lowly played Not Just You by Cody Simpson , beginning to drift to sleep ...

about 2 hours later Ricardo came upstairs and shook me up .

"mom asked if your gonna eat ." He asked .

" maybe later " I said

" leslie , you haven't ate in 3 days .I don't even think I've seen you come out of your room other than for the bathroom and for school . Not even Justin Bieber could get you out of here ! " I had to laugh at that , I love my brother <3

" there's that beautiful smile , now come downstairs and eat babe "

"Is Jc still here ? "

"Naa , he went home after we finished filming . To much tweaking can work up an appetite . C'mon lets go eat ! "

After getting dragged downstairs by him, I sat down at the table next to my mom .

it seemed as if the attention was drawn to me tonight ...

"So how are you and Anthony , honey? " my mom asked .

"Way to break the ice mom ..." I heard Ricardo whisper .

"We broke up " I said looking down .

"Aww , but why he was such a good boy ? "

" would a 'good boy ' go and cheat on me with my bestfriend ! I didn't think so ."

I stood up from the table , and walked outside . It was dark already , I could see the stars .

"Are you okay ? " I heard from behind me .

"It's okay , Rico I'm ov- " he cut me off .

" no it's not . You know your not okay either so stop saying you are if all that your gonna do is go cry back in your room and let Anthony keep ruling your life !"

wow , that hurt .

"...I'm sorry . I didn't mean for it to come out like that . It's just that your my little sister I want what's best for you , and I hate seeing you like this I just can't control my anger " he continued .

We continued talking and the mom came outside .

" Hey you guys ... "

I smiled at her but Ricardo just walked back inside .

"I'm sorry about what just happened in there honey , I had no idea and-"

" just stop mom , it's okay ... No harm "

" I just wish you would have told me before , lets go inside it's getting cold out here "

We walked back inside ,and saw Rico on the phone ," that's great ! How long until I start ? Absolutely perfect ! Thank you very much sir ! "

what the heck was going on .

"Care to explain what that was about ? " asked my mom puzzled.

"Remember that radio internship I've been waiting for in California ? I finally got it ! "

my heart dropped . Ricardo was leaving me . The only person I could trust and depend my entire life on was leaving in less than a 3 days .

"leslie , are you okay ? " I heard from a distance .

"How could you do this to me ! You know exactly what's going on ! you expect me to go thru it myself ! Forget you Ricardo ! Go to your stupid internship and never come back ! EVER ! " I ran upstairs crying .

wow . Never did I think he would do this , I knew I should have been happy for him . After all it wasn't fault that I had been cheated on .

I heard a knock on the door . " can I come in ? "

it was my dad . as he sat down on my bed I couldn't help but comfort myself in his arms .

"How's my little girl today ? " he said wiping the tears from my eyes .

"Ricardo's leaving ... to California ."

" I know , your mother told me about it . I'm guessing you didn't take it to well ?"

" we'll what do you expect dad ! Rico's my big brother he's like an older sister except with big muscles and- "

" she also told me that since me and her are going on vacation , it would be nice for you to go with Ricardo for the summer "he interrupted .

"AHHHH ! " I couldn't believe it , I was going to frickn CALIFORNIA !

I ran downstairs and tackled Ricardo .

" So I'm guessing you heard the news" he laughed .

" I love you Rico ! "

"Haa , well get packing . We're leaving tmr afternoon " he said .

" But I thought you started in 3 days ?" I questioned .

" Yea , but I wanna get a head start and tour around before I have have to work all the time "

I went back upstairs and called Zoe .

She was my only bestfriend now ever since the thing with Anthony .

"Hello " she answered .

"hey Zoe guess what ! "

"I'm really don't wanna know your problems right now leslie ,bye "

beeeeeeeepp. what the heck was that about ?

Zoe and me had been bestfriends since the day she moved to here San Antonio .

what could she possibly be mad at me for ?

I started packing all my shorts , shoes , shirts , and my of course my straightener and curler .

it felt as if I was leaving forever ... never since the day I was born had I traveled anywhere outside of Texas .

"Are you almost done ? " Ricardo said as he walked into my room .

"Yea , I just need to to get my charger from Zoe's house tomorrow morning . "

" alright then go to sleep now it's late ."

I looked at the clock , damn it was 10 already .

I brushed my teeth , put my pajamas on , and next thing I knew I was out .
