Chapter Seven : Where's my Romeo ?

I woke up to an arm wrapped around me and turned to see Ricardo. I slowly slid out of the bed and went to the restroom and brushed my teeth and straightened my hair. When I came out I found Ricardo still in bed watching tv.

"Good morning Sunshine " I said.

"Oh yea, sorry I ended up crashing here it's just that Jarred slept over so he bunked with Jc and I came here" he explained.

"It's okay , reminds me of just when I was little and you'd sleep with me to keep me warm while mom and dad were at work". Ricardo simply gave me a smile then a kiss on the forehead and went into the restroom to get ready.

As soon as I walked into the kitchen I saw Sam and ran to him giving him a hug. I turned around to see Eric standing right behind me. I hugged him too , and then went outside to the pool. I saw Ashley and Kian in the jacuzzi and said a simple good morning , as I sat with my feet in the pool.

"Mind if I keep you company ?" I looked up to see Eric.

"Umm, yea sure..." I agreed.

We both sat in silence until I decided to break the ice , " Were you ever going to tell me about your girlfriend? "

Eric: My girlfriend? You mean Jade ?

Me: Yea, unless you have more than one ...

Eric: I'm not going out with her anymore, whoever told you that is lying !

Me: So I'm like your rebound?

Eric: No, what ? Well yea that's what it looks like but I promise it's not.

Me: Last time someone promised me I wasn't a rebound I ended up dating then for almost a year -

Eric: That's good !

Me: you didn't let me finish. He ended up cheating on me ... WITH MY BRSTFRIEND ! so you tell me now, am I the rebound or are you gonna just Stop, Drop, and Roll ?

Eric: What?

Me: Stop the bullshit, Drop the conversation, and Roll the fuck out.

He stood up and walked away. I began to fill my face with tears and felt someone hug me from the side. It was Ashley , Kians girlfriend, I hadn't talked to her so much but it seemed like she was really caring for others.

"I'm sorry honey, Eric's just not that long term relationship guy. " she said.

" I know, it's just I've had to much on my head and anything else that gets brought in seems to get even worse" I wiped my tears.

" That's it get up princess ! " she yelled trying to pull me up , " We're going shopping ! You need some girl time ! "

I got inside the house and changed into some high waisted shorts with a diamond shirt and a gray beenie. I grabbed my purse and came out to see Ashley already in her car. I told Ricardo that I'd be back later. As I walked out I saw Eric walking in with a bottle blonde, pink haired, attention whore. I opened the car door and turned to Ashley, she simply nodded. That was the famous Jade. I text Sam to tell him about what happened with Eric and that I was gonna go out with Ashley for a bit. The mall was about 20 minutes away so we got there quick enough.
