" So I heard your going to California for the summer " Anthony broke the ice .

"Cut the crap Caylen ! what do you want ? " I blurted .

you heard right, Anthony was Jc Caylen's little brother .

" I want to apologize for what I did , and i never intended for this to happen babe you have to believe me!"

" babe.... ? No , you lost the right to call me that the moment you and my bestfriend lost your virginity to eachother ! " I said lowly.

"I'm sorry Leslie , it's just me and her were beginning to get close. And that one day when we had a movie night with you guys at Zoe's house , after you left it was too dark for her to walk home so I walked her and we talked . She told me how her parents were out of town and she had been wanting company . Then one thing led to another and it just happened . But Leslie it meant nothing ! Why don't you understand that "

I stood quiet , sitting on the porch stairs .

"... are you gonna say anything ? "

" what did you expect was gonna happen after you kissed me ? I'm sure Analee wouldn't like that would she ? Or are you gonna break her heart too ? "

" Leslie please ! I made a mistake , doesn't everyone deserve a second chance ? "

" a second chance is for when you kiss a girl , for when you flirt with girls , a second chance is for when -"

Ricardo cut me off , " Hey I don't mean to interrupt but if we don't leave right now were gonna be late for our flight ... "

" it's okay Rico , this talk ended already ... Just like everything that ever happened between us ."

I went upstairs and grabbed my bags and went downstairs .

" what is he doing in the drivers seat ? " I asked puzzled , seeing Anthony in the car .

"He said he would drive us to the airport , he wouldn't take a no ."

" stupid caylen " I whispered .

"Hey what did I ever do ? " a voice said from behind me .

"JC! " I hugged him tightly .

"There's the sugar , haa now get inside the car let's go to California ! "

I got inside the car , " wait your coming too ? "

" of course ! Do you think ima let my bestfriend explore a new state by himself ? guuurl , you crazy ! "

I laughed and the car started moving .

" Hey I hope you guys don't mind but were gonna stay with some friends for at least a month while we find a temporary place for the summer , alrite ? " jc said from the backseat next to me .

Ricardo shook his head from the front seat , and I nodded in agreement . The airport wasn't that far from the house , so we got there quick enough . Thankfully Ricardo's and JC's singing was becoming a bit to extreme for me ears ...

We unloaded our luggage from the car and walked inside the building .

It was crowded , people everywhere , no space to even move , it was horrible .

" I already bought our tickets online so I just need to go pick them up , you and Anthony stay here and me and JC will go get the tickets " Ricardo said without giving me an option.

We found some seats in the lounge and I tried to look distracted by playing on my iPhone and listening to music .

*tweet* my phone rang as a notification of a text .

dammit , I was singing out loud again .

it was a habit of mine , and a dream since I was little . All that I ever wanted to do was sing . I took off my headphones and turned towards Anthony , " You want Starbucks ? "

" Strawberry Lemonade Blend please ? " he said .

" haha , your funny your coming with me ! " I laughed .

I grabbed his hand and pulled him up from the seat .

" Are you okay ? " he asked stunned.

"umm , I think why ? " I said confused.

" Because you were just mad at me not wanting anything to do with me and now well it's just like before ... When we were going out . "

I froze , then had a flashback .

Anthony had asked me to be his girlfriend at Starbucks exactly a year from today ...

" Leslie , hello earth to Leslie ? "

I faded back to reality and realized that our orders were being taken , " umm Vanilla Bean Frappe please "

I tried to pay but Anthony quickly rejected it and paid himself .

I found a table and sat down still I trying to remember that day , It was so corny but surreal at the same time. He knew I always got mad when people spelled my name wrong so I always checked my cup when I got it . That day when I looked at my name it said , " Leslie , will you be my girlfriend please <3 "

I snapped back to reality seeing that Anthony was bringing our drinks over .

" Vanilla Bean for you " he said as he set the drink down .

"Thank You ..."

"So are you sure your okay ? "

"Umm , yea I was just thinking about some stuff "

" Like when I asked stop out at here ? " he muttered .

" Yea , and like when you made me sing to an entire Cafè " l laughed .

" Hey you had the chance to leave , but you didn't " we both laughed .

We had gone thru so much as a couple . It was gonna be hard to forget it .

" Ricardo wants us back over there ."

I told Anthony .

" ill only go on one condition ..."

"what ? " I asked confused .

"Sing to me the entire way back over there ... "

oh my gosh he would . I pulled him up and I began to sing Broken Yet Holding on by Roni Tran .

When I saw Ricardo and Jc I stopped singing and turned to Anthony and gave him the tightest hug ever.

"Check your bag once you get to the plane . There's something in there for you " he whispered into my ear as we let go .

While Jc and Ricardo said bye to Anthony I got my ticket , my bags , and said my final goodbye to Texas .
