Sean's Pov

Ariana slammed her phone down on the bathroom sink and I quickly covered Landon's ears and looked at her with a confused face. "Baby, talk to me what happened," I said quickly as I rocked Lan slowly in my arms to keep him calm. "Alexa's mom called me and she-" Ariana rambled as her breathing quickened, I went to put Landon in the bassinet and walked back into the bathroom shutting the door behind me.

"Come here," I said softly as I opened my arms for her, she sighed and let me wrap her in my arms. "What did I do that was so wrong.. why am I such a bad person for trying to defend her.. how was I supposed to know she never told him about the miscarriage or the pregnancy as a whole" She cried out, I nodded and just rubbed her back as I let her cry this out. "She's still here, her mom said if i cared about her at all I would go to her house" She said which made me immediately shake my head and look down at her. "You're not about to go over there and endure more pain & stress. Absolutely not, you need to take a mental day, a break" I said softly as I ran my fingers through her hair, she sighed and looked up at me through her lashes.

"But she's my best friend," She said softly, I shook my head and grabbed her face with my hands to kiss her lips. "You spend this day with our kids okay, I will go check on Alexa. You have to give yourself time to heal and process what happens to you, you can't help everyone until you help yourself, and as selfish as this sounds.. i don't give a damn about anyone, you come first, right along with our kids." I said confidently before Ariana sniffled and just let herself calm down. "Okay.. i'm sorry, I will focus on me," She said quietly as she looked into my eyes, I nodded and kissed her one more time before letting her go.

"I will get dressed now and head over there," I said as I moved over to the sink to brush my teeth, Ariana gave me a small smile and a nod before she left the bathroom. "Daddy, can I go with you" Jace asked me, I pouted and shook my head before sitting him up on the counter. "I need you to be a big boy and stay here with your mom. She needs lots of that love you have to offer, I will bring you a happy meal on the way back, but shh don't tell mama," I said kind of whispering the last part, "You will not be getting my baby a happy meal," Ariana said which made me snap my head over to the door and widen my eyes. "She hears everything daddy," Jace said before he giggled behind his hand. I laughed with him and nodded my head.

Ariana's Pov

"I'm gonna head out now love, do you need anything while i'm out" Sean asked me as he put on his shoes, I shook my head and looked up at him. "Just for you to be back soon baby," I said softly as I smiled at him, he laughed and came over to kiss my forehead. "Uh lips," I said with my eyebrows furrowed, he shook his head and leaned down to kiss my lips. "I was getting there love, you know i have to shower you in kisses before i leave" He said with a smirk on his lips, I smiled and put my hand on his chest. "I love you," I said softly, he smiled and kissed my lips again, "I love you more, my beautiful, magnificent wife" He said before he pecked my lips one last time and left.
