as promised i'm here after more than a week (sorry finals and moving out of my dorm destroyed me so) to give you another 10k chapter or longer who knows lmao when i get writing i cant stop sometimes but anyways hope you enjoy this part, school is ending so i will be home with plenty of time to write.

Ariana's Pov
3:02 am

I opened my eyes and flung forward in bed. I quickly looked around the room and remembered Sean and I were in a hotel for the night. "Mama, what's wrong" Sean said groggily as he rested his hand on my thigh, I shook my head and ran my fingers through my hair. "I don't know, something feels wrong" I said quietly as I tried to clear my head, I felt him sit up with me before he started kissing my shoulder. "here, i'll check the cameras at the house" he said groggily as he reached over to the nightstand to grab his phone, I bit down on my nails and watched him load up the app.

"See look, nothing is wrong, we'll be home early, we can check things out before we head to the boat." He said as he showed me all the cameras, I nodded my head and shrugged my shoulders. I couldn't shake this feeling, I don't know what it was but something just wasn't feeling right. "Lay down baby" he said groggily as he pat the space beside him, I nodded and laid down next to him. He kissed my forehead and wrapped his arm around me before draping my leg over him. "What's worrying you" he asked me after starting to rub my leg slowly, I shrugged and traced patterns on his bare chest. "Do you think us being on a boat with no cell service is smart right now considering..." I said before slowly looking up at him, he shrugged and looked at me.

"I know things are a bit uncertain right now, but I trust Joan, and Mike, and hell Zeno and Lex are across the street now. I don't think anything would happen to our kids right now, and i'm not just saying that to make you feel more at ease, I genuinely mean it" He said before he looked up and the ceiling and let out a sigh. "I know I don't exactly make things easy for you sometimes. especially with me leaving the house during the day and working real late. I plan on having Mike stay at the house, he's got some trailer thing he's gonna set up in the backyard and he'll be watching the house 24/7 while we're gone." He said, I pouted my bottom lip and nodded my head.

"I don't want you to think I don't appreciate what you've planned for us, it's just i'm scared of what could go wrong while we're gone" I said quietly before I let out a small yawn, he nodded his head and looked at me again. "I can cancel if you want ari" he said quietly, I shook my head quickly and moved closer to him. "No baby, I just, can we just go back to sleep please" I mumbled before laying my head on his chest, he sighed and just wrapped his free arm around me.

When I woke up I was on the opposite side of the bed, I don't remember moving over here but when I rolled over to see Sean, he wasn't there. I pouted my bottom lip and slowly sat up to look around the room. I noticed his phone and wallet were no longer on the table so grabbed my phone and went to call him. "I thought I'd be back before you woke up, i'm just downstairs getting you breakfast" He said immediately after he picked up the phone, I smiled and nodded my head even though he couldn't see me. "Okay baby," I said quietly as I leaned against the pillows. "I figured we could eat a bit, watch a movie, then head home to pack" He said softly, I smiled and looked around for the tv remote. "Sounds like a good morning to me," I said softly as I grabbed the remote. "I'll be up in a bit" He added before we hung up the phone, I laid on the pillows and scrolled through the movie selection.
