"You need help with that?" A low rough voice fills my ears as I try and drag out the man I just killed.
"Yea..." For some reason, I couldn't do it myself. He was heavy and I have no idea why. I could usually do this on my own.
"Slacking off I see? This should be easy for you." Tin mocks me again.
"Shut up and help me drag."
Silence falls between us and we play this awful act. I know where this body will end up.
Tin uses all his power to pick it up and we head down into a basement. There we put it in the giant meat grinder.
"You do it... Am already covered in blood as it is..." I say, hoping to have this act off my hands and let someone else do it.
Tin doesn't complain. He puts the safety glasses on before turning the switch.
The room is filled with the shearing sound of blades slicing meat. It had no effect on me... Not anymore. I watch as Tin gets splattered with strings of blood as they sprung out off the machine spontaneously.
In seconds the body becomes lumps of shredded meat. At this point I don't know the difference between this and mincemeat.
Tin switches it off and takes the glasses down as well. "This is why I don't come in anymore... I can't be doing this shit everyday."
I kept quiet. Tin was one of the lucky ones. He got away. He made it to the other side. He is to a certain extent... Free. Something I can never be.
"I can take care of the rest if you want... You look like you need a break." Tin says... It's the second time I hear it today. And maybe I do need a break.
I turn around and leave. Going up the same way we came down. Am glad he offered this to me because am not a fan of what comes next. Tin would have to bag the meat and take them to a pig farm. Sell it to the owner, who doesn't know what's in it.
It was a good way to get rid of the body but the evidence of him being here still lives, that job goes to Han... He deals with the blood and fingerprints left behind.
And because I know everything will be handled, I can rest but not here. Being in this place will never bring me peace so I leave.
I get into the car King got for me and drive.I just keep driving and for that moment I forget about all the things I've done. All the people I couldn't truly save. I keep driving, not really knowing where am going. Before I realized it, I find myself at one of our most visited bars. Not far from Riders Bridge.
Am not in the mood to drink so I just get out and lean against the car. Slowly I pull out a cigarette and light it.
This is not the ideal way I wish to relax but it's the only thing I have so I take it. The area is normal... Not to crowded, to the left is an Out post that belongs to King. I guess I can never really get away... I could stop by and help out... But I don't want to.
"chhsss.... Requesting for back up." My radio suddenly receives a message. I know where it's from. The only area that am close enough to receive a signal from is the Out post.
Pretending like I didn't hear it, all I do is watch. The truck that usually delivered supplies to us is speeding away from the Out post. I squint, trying to get a better image.
Then three badly bruised men limp out in attempt to catch them but they were long gone.I take the last pull from the cigarette as I reveal in the end of my relaxation.

"I can't believe we did that!!" Vic screams excitedly. His eyes are open wide. Tay speeds us further and further away from Riders Bridge.
"See... That wasn't to hard. Now they know who their messing with." I voice out, proud of the decision I made earlier.
Tay shakes his head.
"You disagree with what I did?"
"No. Am just worrying about what comes next."
"What do you mean 'what comes next'?"
Tay keeps driving. "The consequences."
I keep quiet. They can't be that bad. These guys had been slaves to them for some time. I decided to step up once and they are even more so afraid... Who the hell are they dealing with that could put such fear in them?
The question lingers in my head as we made two more deliveries. They go smoothly, unlike the one at Riders Bridge.
Once everything is done, we return to the warehouse. I find Good waiting for me.
"What time is it?"
"3:20..."
"I said I would be here at 3, your late."
I roll my eyes. Good never made it easy. I don't want to tell him the reason why we came late so I let him scold me.
We leave and arrive at my uncles home in about 5 to 10 minutes. As soon as I get in, I find Techno waiting for me.
"How was it?" He asked. I could see the interest in this eyes. And some where among it was worry.
"Amazing... I got to use the Tai Chi I learned at school."
"Did you fight someone? Are you hurt?"
He starts touching me all over my body. Looking for any wounds.
"Am fine. Nothing really happened. I promise you."
Be backs up with the 'if you say so' look on his face.
"What are we eating today?" I ask him, trying to change the topic.
"Same as yesterday but..."
Before he could finish, Good came looking for me claiming that my Uncle was looking for me. Was I in trouble? Did he find out about what I did? Will he be angry with me?
"Uncle..." I walk into his study with soft steps.
"Technic, what did you do today?"
I stop walking. Hoping to keep a safe distance from him. "Nothing really..."
He pulls a smile. "Well, what ever you did today. Do it again. I have never received such a profit from this group before. Am happy to see this and am happy that you're the one who did it."
I nod, not knowing if he knew exactly what I did... For now I hold my breath and prey. I pray that nothing bad comes from this.
