CHAPTER EIGHT

I could see the hurt in his eyes which was mixed and intertwined with anger. I don't know the full story but something happened that he didn't like. Off the bat I noticed his skin. Shiny and it looked smooth but I knew if he stayed in here it wouldn't be like that for long, not with the things that King would do to him.

I took a step towards him as I decided on my mission. This wasn't ideal but it would end his suffering. As I took my second step towards sin, a hand grips its self onto my shoulder. I don't have to turn to see who it was.

"Am keeping this one alive..." Kings words send me into a small panic.

"Why?"

"I need him... I thought about it a lot and I figured that if I let him die I will only torture Nic but if I keep both alive and torture him, I can torture Nic in the process as well. Both of them suffer..."

His words ignite something in side me but I can't do anything about it. I keep my eyes on Techno and watch his anger swell in his brown colored irises.

I put the knife back and leave. I thought I could let it go but his face popped up in my head. His red swollen eyes looking into my soul. I let it get to me which is not good cause I can't help him if King wants him alive. He will know nothing but pain from here on out.

I take a breath and look at the sandwich I managed to put together but I couldn't eat any of it as my phone pulled my attention away.

"Hello?"

"Am at the bar on 4th... Can you come get me?"

It was Tin who was seeking my help. I dropped everything and left to get him. Maybe I can distract myself from the issue at hand.

"Wake up... Nic, you need to wake up. Can you hear me? Wake UP!!"

My eyes spring open after  I hear a ranted string of words. My body hurts but I can't seem to care about it... My head doesn't let me care about it as it slowly reminds me of something important.

"My Brother... He has my brother!" I try to get up but Tay holds me down.

"Wait.. You can't get up now. Your hurt."

I push him away from me and try again.

"You need to stay down Nic!" This time it's Vic who holds me down.

"He has him! He has my brother!!" My throat begins hurting and I start to notice the metallic taste of blood.

"Who? Who has your brother?" I hear Tay ask me.

"KING, king has my brother..." The words crawl out of my throat. The taste of blood reminds me of the things they put me through. It also makes me realize that No could go through the same things.

"What did you say?" Vic takes a step back. His face colored in confusion.

"Are you sure Nic?" Tay asked me while still keeping me down.
