"It's lunchtime!" Esther shouted with glee as soon as she heard the bell rang and stood on her ground as she was extending both of her arms while a victorious smile was plastered on her lips.

"Shut up, Ms. Lerkmann. You are still in my class. How disrespectful of you! You should be ashamed of yourself." The teacher hissed at her and hit her magic wand on the board shutting giggles inside the room.

"Oops, my bad. I'm sincerely sorry for not noticing you there, Mrs. Anderson. I'm just hungry because I haven't eaten all day." Esther pouted and touched her belly signaling everyone that she is indeed hungry.

"I mean, I could eat a whole human right now." She sarcastically said while laughing at her humor. Mrs. Anderson rolled her eyes in annoyance and bid the class dismiss.

"That is all for today. Study your lessons. We will have a test tomorrow." She flipped her hair and walked out of the door while leaving her class dumbfounded by the announcement she made.

"What the hell? She didn't even explain it well!" Shilrey exclaimed. There were a lot of groans and fuss inside the room after that announcement but Esther didn't care.

Out of frustration, Marilyn darted her eyes on Esther and stood.

"Hey, Esther! Why on Earth would you do that? Now, we're fucked up!" Marilyn cursed under her breath. Esther scoffed at her and laughed hysterically.

"Excuse me? Have I done something wrong? It is just to exclaim that she should follow the given schedule. I'm not gonna sit around here and do as she says. I have the right to do that. I don't care whatever it is that you think." She said and walked out of the door and went to the canteen as fast as she can.

Everyone was quiet and was staring at Marilyn.

"What?!" She rolled her eyes and packed her stuff up and walked her way towards Heather's.

"Hey, Laura! Let's eat? I won't take no as an answer." Heather beamed with a smile as she held Laura's hand after hearing the bell rang. She smiled shyly at Heather's act of kindness and simply nodded at her proposal.

"So, tell me. Do you have someone you like?" Heather asked as they walked slowly out of the room.

"I don't. How about you?" Laura raised an eyebrow while clutching her books tight.

"Hmm. I do have but I'm just watching him silently." She smiled and bow her head for a while.

"By any chance, does he know the way that you feel?" Laura asked again concerned her question attracts negativity.

"No, but I--"

Heather's face was covered by Marilyn's tight hug.

"Hey, I didn't see you coming!" Heather returned the hug and smiled lightly. Marilyn lost her smile the moment she saw Laura on their side.

"Why is she with you?" Marilyn bent her arm on her waist while her brow is doing its usual job.

"C'mon, Marilyn. She's your sister! Don't treat her poorly." Heather persuaded but Marilyn acts as if she heard nothing and grabbed her hand on their way to the canteen.
