"Well, what do we have here?" A girl with a friend on her side went near a silent girl on the rooftop of the building.
"You've ruined everything and taken everyone from me. Just how of a slutty bitch you are!" She grabbed the hair of that silent girl's hair and started messing it up.
"I've had enough of this!" She started to mess with that girl's hair too and they were both fighting. In desperation to save her friend, the other girl tried her best to separate them. Her force was enough to push the silent girl.
Losing her balance, she tried to ground herself but was too late as she fell from the top. The two girls were shocked at what happened and leaned down to check if she was fine.
The silent girl's head bumped into a large stone and her blood watered it.
"What are you looking down there?" A voice asked and they turn their heads shocked to see that girl with blood still running on her face.
"Must've been exciting to see that, I guess?" The girl who tried to pull the silent girl's hair was shocked at the sight.
"Try it yourself then." She ran towards them and pushed them too.
"No!"
Anastacia caught her breathing. She sat up from her bed unable to process her dream.
'It's just a dream. Nothing more.' Anastacia's heartbeat slows down.
She went downstairs to grab herself a drink when she saw a girl sitting around her table. Even without that girl facing her, she sure knew who she was.
'She's dead. Why is she here? Am I still dreaming?'
Still not wanting to make assumptions, she took a hold of her shoulder.
"Mom, are you okay?" Laura looked at her with concern.
"Oh, dear." She hugged Laura tight and almost cried.
"Did you have a nightmare, mom?" Anastacia couldn't speak. She was just glad it was Laura and not someone else.
"Why are you still awake at this hour?" She composed herself and gave a little smile to Laura.
"I couldn't sleep well, mom. I was thinking about something." Anastacia lost her interest in what her daughter was thinking about and was just happy it was Laura sitting on the chair after all.
"Let me get you some milk so you could sleep." She smiled and went to the counter to make her a glass of milk.
Laura, waiting for Anastacia, wrote something in her diary.
"Here comes your mi--" Anastacia saw a shadow lurking behind Laura. It rested its claws on her daughter's shoulder and smiled devilishly.
'A life for a life, darling.' Anastacia dropped the glass down and a tear escaped from her eye.
"No, this can't be. No!" Panicking, she tried to get a hold of Laura's feet while the monster was dragging Laura away from her.
"Mom, help me please. Mom, help me!" Laura screamed as she was dragged by the shadow into the void.
"No!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Mom! Mom, wake up!" Marilyn shook her mother's body. Anastacia was crying when she immediately hugged the person who woke her up.
"Oh, dear. I thought I lost you." She calmed herself down a bit knowing what happened was just a dream.
