Ryan's POV
"There you three are. I was worried you wouldn't make it." Tulin jumped down from the roof of the Flight Range, and the three of us waved.
"Hi Tulin!" Aurelia seemed to loosen up, compared to how she was on the trip here.
"We better get to training. Come on, kiddos." We climbed the ladder as Tulin just flew back up there. Once we made it to the top, he threw us our bows.
"Now, my dad told me what I should be expecting from the three of you. Now gimme all you got!" First, Aurelia went, and she just ran right off the platform and pulled out her paraglider.
She proceeded to shoot each target with her bomb arrows, and was quick to get back up to us.
"Nice! Kyle, Ryan?" We both jumped down too and did the same. "Alright. Well, let's keep this up until we get it right! Make Teba proud!"
"Right!" We all kept going like that for a good while, getting better with each time.
"Kyle," I started as we both jumped down off the platform as Aurelia took her break. "So, what are we gonna do after this?"
"I don't know." Kyle sighed as we reached the bottom. "Aurelia said she'd best get home by the weekend. It's been a whole two months since she's seen her parents."
"Then we should just head out to the Akkala and finish our research project with Robbie."
"Good idea." We both looked back up, and saw Tulin leaning over the ledge.
"Don't get side tracked yet, boys. Keep going!" He called, and we both gave a thumbs up and called back up.
"Okay!" We both ran to the lifts, and got in them before being pulled up towards the surface again. Once we were back up, we heard small pieces of their conversation.
"I just feel like... there's some secret being kept from me. I haven't seen them in a while and I just want to trust that their alright and being honest." Aurelia sighed, looking down at her hands.
"Parents are like that sometimes. My mom and dad have hidden things from me before, and-"
"But these two are royals. If their hiding something from me, their own daughter, somethings wrong. And it could affect the kingdom itself."
"That's probably not what's going on. But either way, it's still the same. Sometimes parents need to hide things, and that's okay. But you need to find out if this is okay or not."
"Well how?"
"Well, you just gotta ask if there's anything they need help with. And if they say no, and even better if they're acting real weird about it, then talk to someone else. They can't necessarily be the only ones that would know."
"Are you sure this would work?"
"Positive. Now, you better get back out there kid. Soon enough you're mind will be at ease again."
"Okay. Thanks Tulin." She smiled and he smiled back.
"No problem, kiddo." She ran over to us and jumped off the ledge with a small smile. As if she now figured everything would be okay. That's the Aurelia we love to see.
"Come on, Ryan." Kyle said with a smile. "Back to work."
~~~~
"Alright, hold your stance, Ryan." Tulin was helping me aim my posture right, and I was trying to cooperate but I struggled a bit.
"Come on, Ryan, you got this!" Kyle cheered, and Aurelia laughed.
"Okay, if you guys say so." I leaped up into the air and shot all the targets perfectly.
"Perfect! Now, to do the landing you gotta keep balance!"
"Okay!" I managed to spin around, shooting more targets just to impress, and then got myself back down to where Tulin was.
"Impressive, my friend. Take it from the top!" I did it again, this time even better, and Tulin seemed proud. "You're doing great, Ryan."
"You could teach me a thing or two now." Aurelia giggled, and Kyle agreed.
"You didn't tell us how great you were at this stuff." He laughed, and I rubbed the back of my neck.
"Training with the Rito all the time brings some skill in, yes." I looked up, blowing my light hair out of my face and laughing along with the other three.
