"Well..." I started, trying to think of the right way to put it. "As you seem to already have figured out, I'm the Princess of Zora's Domain. The only daughter of Queen _____ and King Sidon."
"But what about Hyrule?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. That situation was... complicated.
"For the time being, I'm considered a royal. But not like the princess or queen. I'm just in charge until King Link and Queen Zelda are freed." He nodded and looked ahead of us at the dueling peaks. We had been walking a while, and were just now getting to this conversation.
"Where are they all?"
"Link is in the shrine of resurrection, and Zelda is trying to hold Ganon down under the castle." I sighed and looked down, my red hair falling in my face. A constant reminder of my heritage. The only hylian in Hyrule with bright red hair was the fourteen year old trying to bring up an entire kingdom. Alone.
"What about your parents?" He asked this last question as if he thought it would be a sensitive subject for me. Which in some cases it was, but they weren't gone or anything. Just... stuck.
"My father is in the Divine Beast Vah Ruta, trapped thanks to Ganon's blights. And my mother... is in the shrine of resurrection under the domain. The same place she spent 104 years before."
"Oh, well hopefully we'll find a way to get Link and Zelda freed so we can save both of them. A-And I can help you!" He gave me an encouraging smile and I smiled back but sighed.
"That's a kind offer, Kyle, but..." I cleared my throat and moved my long fluffy hair off my shoulder.
"But...?" He motioned for me to go on.
"You're a young guard, much like me. Although, Hyrule is counting on me to save the Hylian Champion, the Queen and my parents. You shouldn't strain yourself."
Did I want him to go with me? No. Was it his fault? No. Was it me? Yes.
I don't work well with other young guards, especially boys. My mother taught me to learn the influence of 'team work' and why it's important. And I've tried! But I just don't click.
"But I could help you." He pouted, pushing his deep brown hair back.
"I can do this alone. Don't worry about me." He stopped but I kept walking a few steps before looking back at him.
"But you do everything alone. And I heard that your parent's weren't like that. They weren't stubborn." I froze. He looked at me confused before he thought about it. "I mea-"
"Are you calling me stubborn? Of all the people you could be insulting, you chose me?" He looked... fearful. As if I would literally explode right before him.
"No, your majesty I -" I cut him off, this time with pure rage.
"DON'T call me 'your majesty' buddy!" I stormed off, continuing towards the castle.
"Aurelia, wait!" He started running but I put my hand up.
"Stop. I don't have time for this. I have a meeting at the castle that I'm actually late for." He stopped at the stable - one we both would have stopped at anyways - to stay for a bit. I chose tiring myself out rather than having to deal with an awkward situation. So I continued to Hyrule Castle.
After arriving ~
I ran upstairs to the meeting I was supposed to attend, but once I got there no one else was. Except for the captain, Sir Rocky.
"Sir Rocky, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to be so late, but it completely went over my head!" I sat down next to him and he merely shook his head. "Wait, was there even a meeting?" Another shake.
"Screw the meeting," He started, leaving a long few moments of silence.
"Why...?" I asked as he leaned back in his chair.
"Master Link has awoken."

This one was prewritten! Decided updating Perfectly's chaos would be enough for one day. I'm sorry there's absolutely no fluffy stuff going on lately and I'm gonna get there soon!
