Chapter 16: Princess

You were sick, and had been for a week now. To make matters worse, you had your baby 4 hours ago. And you weren't feeling any better.

You were just relaxing in your room since they let you go home. But they kept the baby for some health check ups. The door to your dimly lit and very quiet room was opened slowly, and there was your husband.

"I brought you soup, dear..." Sidon's tone was soft and sweet, the one thing that made you smile right now.

"Thank you, Sidon." You kissed his cheek and he smiled. "I love you."

"I love you too." He sat down next to you and wrapped his right arm around you. "Are you feeling and better?"

"Now that your here, I am." You looked up at Sidon with a smile and he kissed your lips. "Any news on the baby?"

"No, not yet. They're all so busy down there right now, but I'll go check again in a few hours." Sidon sighed and looked down. You nodded and sipped a spoonful of soup.

Oh, and you must be wondering about the Ganon situation as well? Nothing new on that, unfortunately.

"I never wanted our child to grow up in chaos. A child shouldn't have to be faced with that so young." You were angry that everything had to be out of line right now. Sidon was as well, even more so than you.

"We'll end this. We're all a team, and we just need to find the right time to-" You cut him off, irritation in your voice.

"But we need a plan! We've been so worried about the baby and everything the last few months that we haven't had time to come up with a start to the plan!" You put your head in your hands and Sidon rested his head on yours.

"I know, it'll be okay. We're gonna figure this out honey, I promise."

Sidon stayed with you all evening, and the two of you discussed the situation about Ganon. Eventually Sidon went to check in with the medics about the baby.

"Don't stress out _____. You aren't feeling well, and you seriously deserve a break." Sidon said this as he closed the door, leaving you to think. To think of how to fix this.

Sidon came back shortly after, but this time he wasn't alone.

"_____, look who I brought." He walked over to you and handed you the bundle of blankets.

"So nothing's wrong?" You smiled and Sidon chuckled softly.

"Yes she's okay." You looked up as he sat down next to you.

"She?"

"Yes, it's a little girl. And I believe for a little girl we agreed on Aurelia." Sidon gave you a cheeky smile and you laughed.

"Yes, we did. Princess Aurelia." You smiled at your daughter and Sidon kissed your head.

Aurelia had bright red hair but your eye color. She had some zora features, and was a good mix of both.

"What an adorable little Zylian." You giggled at Sidon's remark and almost instantly forgot you felt sick. And you did feel a lot better over the next few days.
