It's been about 2 days since the group had found my sister and I. They don't talk much. Possibly because there isn't much to talk about.
We had to stop in a town because we were out of ammo and low in gas.
Warren gathered us all to divide us up into groups. Murphy and Mel stayed at the truck because Mel is still injured and they don't want Murphy wondering off."Doc. You, 10k, and Willa go look down that way," Warren point as we all look down the deserted street, "check all the cars and stores for gas and ammo. I'll go with Mack, Addy, and Cassandra down the other street."
As we headed down, a few Z's wandered out of some buildings. I ready my gun but 10k touches my arm. I lower my gun and turn to him. He nods and I pull out my dagger. We don't want to make to much noise because we don't want more coming out in case there are hordes of Z's inside.
We checked most of the building on the street and found a few left over snacks that we could take. But no ammo or gas. There were some with no Z's and some with too many Z's for just the three of us to kill. We would need the whole group to clear them out. When we finished, we began to head back to the truck.
"Did you get that store front?" Doc asked both 10k and I as he points to a small coffee shop. We both shook our heads and all three of us head over.
Before we could open the door we heard a scream in the distance.
We all froze. A chill ran down my back as the scream flooded my ears. "Mel," was all that I could say. With out thinking I ran in the direction of the truck. As I rounded the corner all I could see was zombies. Hundreds of zombies surrounding the truck. None of them noticed me and just before I was about to try and make it to the truck, I was grabbed from behind.
