Party Time

Halfway back to the school a car pulled over. They had walked all the way to where they were and even passed there wrecked car. Ted didn't like what was going on and it didn't take him long to start freaking out.
"Dude calm down. Just chill!" Sarah said.
"I can't calm down. I just robbed an 7nlocked wedding store and took one if there mannequins for hostage for it's cloths!" Ted yelled.
"Shut up ted! Ima get us out of this you idiot!" Tyler said. This didn't maje ted feel any better. The car came to a stop and thw lady looked out the window. She looked at all four of the kids. She seemed confused.
"Are you kids ok? And who is that?" The women said pointing to teds mannequin. Ted put it behind him in an attempt at hiding it. Sarah saw what he was doing and rolled her eyes.
"It's a prop we got for our school prom tonight." She said. The women relaxed.
"Oh thank goodness I thought that was a dead rich guy and you were dragging him somewhere." The lady said.
"Where are you kids going?" She asked. Conner went to answer but decided to check with everyone. He turned around and everyone just shrugged. Everyone except ted who was too scared to move.
"Were going to st. Gunner high but it's going to take forever. You think you could take us there please?" Conner asked politely. The women looked in thw back seat.
"Yeah that's ok. Get in." The women said cheerfully. Conner looked back at everyone making shure they were all ok with this. He turned to look at them and they were all just looking back at him. Everyone except Ted who shaking his head no. He shrugged and hopped in the back of the car. With that the other kids did thr same. Ted was a little reluctant but did the same. The ride back to the school was toucher for the kids. They had to sit there and listen to the women tell about her prom.
"And thats when bertha, the girl from the pinyata, told me to chug the whole punch bowl." The lady went on. Tyler couldn't take it anymore and he could see sarah was thinking the same.
"Hey lady, I'm sorry to interrupt but we can walk from here. The school its far from here." Tyler said. With that the lady pulled over to the side and let the kids out if the car. They said there thank you's and took off running down the sidewalk to reach the school. While everyone kept running, ted had to run i to a passing gas station to change into his tuxedo. He went as fast as he could. leaving the mannequin he took off to the school. He looked at his watch. There was still twenty minutes left for him and brooklyn to do something at prom. Tyler, sarah, and conner had finely made it to the school. They all looked behind them expecting to see ted and go in together.
"Where's ted?" Sarah asked. They looked around and saw him running toward them in his white tuxedo. They waited for him.
"Sorry for holding you guys up. I had to switch." He said when he made it to them.
"Doesn't matter where already way late." Sarah said. With that they all walked inside the school and into the gym. As soon as they walked in ted rab off to find brooklyn.
"Knew that would happen. Now conner, if your going to say something cliche then bow would be the time." Sarah said. Tyler laughed a little. Conner shrugged.
"It's party time." He said
"Eh. You done better. Lets grab a cookie." She said. They walked off leaving tyler. He walked i to the middle of the party. Ted found brooklyn quickly. He ran over to her.
"Brooklyn, I'm so sorry I'm late." He started but was cut off bye brooklyn.
"Oh my goodness! Look at your face! What happened."  She said touching the cut that was above teds eye. He flinched at it. He looked at the glass table and saw his reflection. He saw the cut she was talking about.
"Car crash." He said while he shrugged. She looked at him simpotheticly.
"We'll it's ok. I like your tux." She said stepping back to look at him. Ted thanked her.
"Well, you wanna dance?" Ted asked holding out his hand. She took his hand and they walked over to the dance floor. But just as thy reached it the dj came on the mic.
"Thanks for coming out to prom. All of you love birds have a good night. Just not too good." He finished. Ted turned back to brooklyn. He turned back to see that Everyone was leaving.
"I'm sorry I ruined your night brooklyn." Ted said looking down.
"It's ok. I never did want to go to prom. I don't really like parties anyway." She said. Ted nodded. He thought for a second.
"I know you probably had a long night but sense we didn't get to do anything hiw about a movie?" Ted asked.
"Shure. Lets go." Brooklyn said. Ted took her hand in his and walked out of the building.
