The Farmer family was now a family again. It's hard to think that your mom and dad and siblings are far away and don't know who you are. But it worked out for the Farmers.
South moved here with Andrella and Mark and they visit North often. North doesn't get bullied anymore and it's easier for her to make friends now.
Lyla also moved here, but she doesn't really enjoy hanging out with Rockie.
But the two remind me of Xander and me. And we worked out. Well, we're getting closer every day.
But today, on a Monday morning, it's time to turn this movie from mystery to romance.
At first, this movie was a mystery. A girl who has no idea where her twin sister is. Her family turns this movie into an interesting comedy movie, with a weird way of getting her to engage with people. Then two kids who absolutely hate each other get along and try to solve the mystery of the young adopted girl.
Now that the mystery is solved, there is one more genre to the story.
Romance.
I love Xander. And I know he loves me. But we need to make stuff official.
Stop playing games.
I drove to the park, knowing that Xander comes here often. I was right. He was there.
"Hey," I say as I climb up the playground.
"Hey," He smiles and gets up.
We stare at the ground a bit.
"You know, South and North are kind of like their names," Xander said.
"Really?" I make a weird face.
"Yeah," Xander said, "Both of the directions are opposites. North and South are opposites. North has her dad's looks and her mom's personality, while South looks a bit more like her mom but has the heart of her dad."
"And they used to live in different places!" I said, remembering the cool weather of Alaska.
Xander smiled and nodded.
I look at the ground, "My life is like a movie."
Xander looked at me, "Really?"
"Yeah," I said, "It started out as a mystery when I met North. Then comedy, because my family had no idea about how to treat North. Then back to mystery when you and I tried to find North's family. And now..."
Xander walked a bit closer to me, "Romance?"
I looked up at him, "Yeah,"
Xander walked a bit closer to me and held my waist, "You know, every romantic story..."
I wrapped my arms around his neck leaning closer to him, "Needs a true love kiss."
Our lips touched and we were both pulled in a kiss.
My first kiss.
I never thought Xander was going to be the one. But he is.
And I love him.
