Y/N POV

It has been about a week since Namjoon helped me when I was in heat. My housemates finally came back when my scent had cleared out of the house and I got my hands on some heat supressing pills so this disaster wouldn't happen again.

When they came back all three of the boys looked at me and giggled like schoolgirls. I blushed and told them to be quiet. They were surprised I responded, but I was now getting comfortable with them. I still get jumpy and hesitant when they get to close to me but I realized they weren't going to hurt me, and since Namjoon trusted them so much, I trusted them to. I even brought myself to chill in the living room with them when I wasn't at work or with Namjoon.

Speaking of work, things were going really well. The other staff seemed to like me and I was slowly settling in, enjoying that I get to sew all day. There are 6 other staff members. E:U, Sihyeon, Mia, Aisha, Onda and Yiren, all omegas. They all welcomed me with open arms and we got along really well. Not once did they try and force me to speak, and we worked it out that I stay in the back most of the time and sew while the others tend to customers and do fittings.

We all eat lunch together in the back office and today we get on the topic of mates. Mia, E:U and Yiren have one but Sihyeon, Aisha and Onda don't. They talk about their mates for a while and I stay quiet, like I mostly do at the lunch table. Then the conversation turns to me.

"So, Y/N do you have a mate?" Aisha asks casually while the other girls listen intently. I stop eating my sandwich and nod.

"I do. He hasn't marked me yet, but we're mates. He and I can both smell it." I explain. I internally smile, happy I got out a full sentence. The others girls squeal and fill the room with playful "ohhhs" while I blush.

"Awww, I bet y'all are so cute!" Onda remarks. I smile and go back to eating my lunch. The girls gasp.

"Well don't leave us hanging! What's his name?" Yiren asks.

I pause at this, not sure if I should tell them. I don't want to lie, but Namjoon said that some girls might be mean to me when they found out we were together. But somehow, I know these girls aren't going to turn on me. I shuffle in my seat and the girls gave a look of concern.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pressure you. You don't have to tell us if you don't want." Yiren says. I shake my head.

"His name is Kim Namjoon." I say and collective gasps are heard, which are then replaced by some more squeals.

"That's insane! The Head Alphas son! Damnnnnn Y/N you got game!" Mia laughs and I laugh to. No one seems bothered in the slightest that Namjoon is my mate.

We go back to eating and soon our lunch break finishes and we get back to work.

~Time Skip~

It's now 5pm and the girls and I close up the shop, saying goodbye to Mr. Jeon. I say goodbye to the girls and we all set off our separate ways and I start walking home. The sun is slowly setting and I feel the cold nip in the air indicating it's definitely fall now. Good thing I'm bundled up in my big fluffy coat, hat and scarf wrapped around my face. The leaves are falling off the trees in the slight northerly wind and some people are out walking around. I cross the street and see my cabin. I rush over and use my key to unlock the door, eager to get in from the cold.

I step in the threshold of the house and Jin is cooking while Tae and Jimin are playing video games on the tv. I take of my layers and shoes and bring my lunch bag to the sink, emptying out my dirty dishes. I place them in the sink and start washing them while Jin continues cooking dinner.

"Whats for dinner Jin-hyung?" Tae yells and I flinch slightly.

"I'm trying something new, I'm calling it ramen 2.0" He yells back, making me flinch more than I did when Tae yelled.

"Oh sorry Y/N. I forgot you like peace and quiet." Jin apologizes. I don't bother asking him if he wants help because that man is anal about his kitchen. You cut the onions wrong and he's halfway to kicking you out of the cabin. So I let him do this thing.

"It's ok." I respond. I finish my dishes and walk over to the couch and sit beside Tae, surprising him. He looks at me for a moment and I curl up on the couch, pulling a blanket over me while watching the game. He shakes his head to himself and continues playing the game.

Omegas tend to not only need the affection of their mates, but also affection from the omegas close to them. It is a sense that omegas need each other to, to bond with someone of their own kind, and have friends. Alphas knew this, and for the most part let us have our cuddles, knowing it would never result into anything more. Sometimes we even fall asleep in the same bed, and rest until morning. Living with Jin, Tae and Jimin makes me crave that affection and bond. I am dying for some cuddles from Tae, as he seems to like me the most and I like him the most to.

So I go for it. I shift my body ever so slightly so I was lying a little bit on Tae's arm, and I close my eyes and nuzzle into him. Tae notices and stops playing the game, putting his controller down and wrapping his arm around me, nuzzling his nose in my hair. Jimin joined us and shifted to cling onto Taes other arm. We all closed our eyes and rest while waiting for dinner.

Third Person POV

Unbeknownst to the three omegas, Jin snapps a picture of them in a big pile on the couch. He sends it to Namjoon with the caption: She's bonding with them! She took the initiative and started cuddling Tae!

Namjoon reads the text and he is thrilled that Y/N is making progress with her house mates.
