Y/n's POV
"Come on, Reki! You slowpoke!" I yelled and skated out of the house. "Yeah, yeah!" He yelled and followed me.

I laughed as we made tricks on the way. I smirked over at Reki and made a Backside Heelflip and he clicked his tongue as he tried to do it, he made it but lost his balance for a second.

"You got it!" I said and he rolled his eyes, "Of course I did, stupid!" He joked and I rolled my eyes.

We both grabbed onto the back of a van to get extra speed, we speeded towards an edge, and we smirked at each other. Reki landed first by doing a Frontside 180 Ollie and looked back at me, and me being a show-off, I made a method air.

"Woah..." I heard Reki mumble and I winked at him as I landed a bit ahead of him and continued to skate after me until we finally reached our destination.

We high fived and stepped inside the mini-truck to take our seats; Reki was in the front and I was in the back.
"You're late," Manager Oka scolded and we sighed, "Sorry!" We said in unison and we looked at each other.

I stuck out my tongue while I formed an "L" with my fingers and held it on my forehead. Childish? Yes. Funny to see his pissed-off face?

Absolutely.

"Thanks for the drive! Oka," I said as we drove past the gates to the underground place.

"Yeah, yeah," he said and stopped the car before Reki and I made our way to where the beef was holding place.

"You got this, Reki" I whispered and he smirked "Thanks," he said and we fist-bumped before I skated to the side to stand by the others, some of them high-fived me and elbowed me.

I rolled my eyes and looked at Reki that faces SHADOW, "I thought you made a run for it," Reki glared at him, "I'm gonna have you to me back the fact that you dissed my skating, SHADOW!" Reki snapped back and the guys I stood beside began to yell—

"SHADOW and Reki are at it!"

"Show some backbone!"

I facepalmed and the lights turn on.
It was time. Reki looked over at me and I nodded. He returned the nod and took his start position. "Keep your calm, Reki" I whispered.

The lights turned green and the two skated off.

I watched the beef intensely. I cheered at the moment Reki got ahead of SHADOW but... he suddenly lost control and crashed out of the lane.

I facepalmed at his loss.

☾ Next Day ☽

After the beef at "S" yesterday, I had to take Reki to the hospital; he got his arm patched up with a bandage. And when I got back home, I got yelled at for being late by my aunts and older brother who were visiting.

I sighed as I walked into the classroom to see three of our classmates standing around Reki. "Hey, Reki, that arm from a fight?"

"As if"

"You just don't learn your lesson. You got injured the other day, too."

"I said, as if!"

"You drawing something again?"

"Are you interested?" Reki asked with star eyes. They all stared at Reki like he was a crazy man. "No."

"Dangerous stuff"
