Marcus waked silently with Catapult in his arms, while Noir and Yato talked about mundane things in lowered tones. Not wanting to bother them, he chose not to speak up during their walk and focused on making sure Catapult doesn't die in his arms.
Operators POV
Noir: "It's quiet out here. If anything, its peaceful. I like it."
Yato: "It's peaceful alright, until one of the factions decides the 'unpeace' the area"
The 2 chuckled at that and continued their walk in blissful silence. Yato glances at Marcus from behind and whispers to Noir
Yato: "Hey Noir."
Noir: "Hm?"
Yato: "what do you think about the hunter? You think he's just leading us to a trap?"
Yato asks while looking at Noir nervously.
Noir: "...I don't think so. I think he genuinely wants to help. If he didn't, why didn't he just offed us and move on with his day? Honestly. . .He does not seem like a bad guy. Conflicted maybe, but not a bad guy."
Yato: ". . .I guess. . ."
After about 10 minutes of silence has passed, Yato called out to Marcus.
Yato: Jericho! How's Catapult?
Marcus (Jericho): "she's doing fine. She is stable but still needs medical attention.
Yato Seemed satisfied with that answer. "Don't worry Catapult. You're going to be just fine!" Yato thought.
Marcus POV
As we walked, the sound of ISAC's voice broke the silence
"Multiple True Sons entities nearby. Civilians in danger. Intercepting comms."
TS 1: *You came in the wrong place, at the wrong time fellas. Now you gotta die! *
Civilian #1: *Please! Let my wife and daughter go. You can torture me however you like, but please leave them out of it. *
TS 1: *Not going to happen bud, we haven't had any target practice in a while, so you three are gonna be our very own training dummies. Isn't that great? *
Civilian #2: *do not hurt my daddy! Please!! (sobs) *
TS 1: *Sorry little girl, You guys are my prey. And I am not about to let me prey go. Though, I haven't been with a female in quite a long time. . . if you catch my drift. *
Civilian 3: *don't you fucking dare touch my daughter you disgusting bitch. *
[audible smack in the transmission]
TS 2: *Dude what the fuck is wrong with you? *
TS 1: *what? I was joking arou- *
TS 2: *like hell you were joking. Say that shit near me again I am killing your pedophile ass. *
TS 1: *yea yea I hear you. *
TS 2: *Ugh, I do not know why Major Anderson allowed you to join us. *
TS 1: *Maybe it's because I'm good looking *
[Audible assault rifle reload from TS 2 in the transmission]
