Iris POV

2 years later

"I would like to toast to Izira and Jodan for their happy marriage!" Talia shouted, as everyone in the room smiled, including Nathaniel and I.

We all grinned, as Izira and Jodan shared a kiss.

Auriana and Talia were so happy that they got to be sisters. The two kingdoms had the most powerful navy and army.

"And the world must be a better place."

Auriana kissed Doug on the cheek, then stood up.

"I have an announcement. I am getting married!" she shrieked.

Talia and I shared a shocked look, as Lyna and Carissa both kissed their husbands. Dawn and Chandler both hooted, as Lev looked very uncomfortable.

"Iris, will you dance with me?"

"Of course, dear sir." I joked, as he led me towards the dance floor. We swayed to the music, slow but comfortable.

"Iris, the adventure has been over for a year. What will we do next?"

"Whatever the day brings." I simply responded.

"Of course." he smiled tenderly.

4 hours later

Pink, Blue, Orange, Whites, Purple, Green. Human, Ephedian.

Daughter of Ephedia now fallen, the jewel you hold close will be stolen. Ephedia needs it's bravest warriors. Someone is gone from the batches of creatures. Believers, barriers. Crystals, rocks. Forget all you know. Darkest knight will be your foe. West then east flies the crow.

I sat up directly in bed, as the raspy voice backed into the shadows of my brain. I thought nothing of it, but clearly it meant something.

I stumbled into the kitchen and began to make breakfast, when a cold wind blew through the open window.

"Hello Iris."

I saw a dark, hooded figure in my doorway. I yelped and knocked over some dishes.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Something of yours." the raspy voice responded. I conjured my powers and stood defensively at the figure.

"Who are you?" I asked, as my voice shook.

"You'll know me better as the Black Knight." it replied.

"Why?" I inquired. It lowered it's hood to reveal the other side of Graymorr's mask.

"No. He's dead." I insisted.

"Think again. He left behind a few things before he left this world." it rasped. I shot a spear-like crystal at it, and it dodged it easily. It went around the room, before darting into the safe I held in my closet.

"Stop!" I ordered.

It brought out my pendant, and ran outside, promptly closing the door, with the jewel I held close the most.

The prophecy was coming true.
