Coy feared many things. From the thought of being touched, to the thought of encountering her father. But one always seemed to stand out when people tried to grow close to her. It was a fear that had it's own set of rules.

Don't grow close.

Don't make friends.

Don't grow close.

Don't make friends.

And yet, she had ignored those very rules.

And maybe because of that, she didn't visit Kyouka or Momo. And maybe it was because of that she ignored the phone calls. And maybe it was because of that her mother and sister would stare at her in worry.

But she couldn't help it. And maybe that was just her father talking. Maybe that was just the things he put in her head all those years ago taking control. Maybe that was just the death of her first friend talking.

But the thought of losing anyone again. It hurt, and she hated it. She tried so hard, pushing feelings away. Fear, anger, sadness, happiness. She hated showing it. She hated showing anything remotely close to it. It was weakness in her mind. A weakness she tried to hide.

But, just cause she didn't visit. Didn't mean she didn't care. She'd go to the hospital, asking about her friends and classmates, and how they were doing, before she took her leave, asking the nurses and doctors that they didn't tell them she was there.

She'd rather they hate her than continue to hurt them.

Now, she knew it wasn't her fault. She didn't lead the League to the camp, but she was still angry she couldn't help them. She was angry she wasn't there. Angry that she couldn't do anything to stop Bakugo from getting kidnapped, or the others from getting hurt.

But then again, could she have stopped them? She was weak, right? So would she even be able to stop them?

And it was those thoughts that seemed to haunt her as time went on.

"Coy! Come quickly!" She heard Akil shout from the living room. Her eyebrows furrowed as she placed her glass of water on the counter, making her way into the living. However, she found herself freezing as the sight of Camino entered her vision.

"This scene looks like it's straight out of a nightmare!" A voice on the TV shouted as the camera zoomed in on the damage of Camino.

"In an instant, half of Camino Ward has been destroyed! Currently, All Might is fighting the villain thought to be the ringleader!"

Coy made her way close to the TV, stopping in front of the couch, and slowly taking a seat beside her brother as her mother and sister stood behind the sofa. They watched as Coy stared at the television with slightly wide eyes, the most emotion she's really shown around them.

"I can't believe it! There's just one villain! He's destroyed the city and is more than holding his own against the Symbol of Peace!"

Coy could feel her breath catch in her throat as she looked at All Might's form, he looked slightly beat up. But he was fine. Right? He had to be. He was the Symbol of Peace. Yes, she wasn't one to look into heroes, and was nowhere near being a fan. But she respected them. She respected All Might. He has to be okay. Right?

And maybe her hands began to shake at the thought he wasn't okay. And maybe her hands began to shake at the thought he wasn't going to win.

And soon enough, it wasn't just her hands shaking.

She held her hands over her mouth in worry, staring at the screen which shown her teacher, standing beside a shorter man, what looked to be hero.

Her eyes widen further as she watched the villain's arms grow, All Might not moving from his spot as the shorter man launched at the villain, only to get thrown back by the force of his attack.

And as the smoke cleared, Coy shot from her spot on the couch, her shoulder shaking as she took in the skeleton-like form of her teacher.

'All Might...'

"Oh my god... Is that....?" She heard her mother speak, though it came distant as the mint haired female stared at the screen.

"Can you all see this? All Might has...deflated..."

Unwanted tears built in her eyes, and she felt her breathing go uneven. She watched as All Might's once proudly raised fist slowly lowered, as the words of the villain, which she couldn't hear, were spoken.

Her mouth opened as her throat burned. She wanted to scream his name, she wanted to make him hear her. Her hope in him, her respect for him.

"All Might...is...losing?" Aanu gasped.

And with that, the tears fell. Her throat burned as she rasped, she couldn't speak, but she wanted him to hear.

"A....m..." Her fists clenched, as she held them to her chest.

"Wi..." The words died, and she was left with a burning taste, with pain from the struggle of her damaged vocal cords. But she didn't care.

'All Might...win...'

She let her walls break as the hope for the man she grew to respect stared at the villain before him. He heard them, right? He felt their screams, right?

They knew he could do it. He was All Might, he could win. He will win.

Coy could feel the metallic taste of blood enter her mouth as she continued to try and speak. She knew she couldn't, she lost the chance of that a long time ago. But she wanted All Might to hear her, she wanted him to continue being the hero he was. Even if this turned out to be his last battle.

She felt the tears grow, and her eyesight grow blurry as the rest of the heroes showed. Backing up the hero that shook in his place.

"A....i..n..."

"C-Coy..!"

She could feel her throat bubble in pain, she could feel a cold liquid wash down her chin past her lips, joining her tears, but all she could do was stare at her teacher.

He had to hear her.

"A....i...t..."

And as the shout of their teacher's name echoed, Class A hoping, hoping, their teacher could hear them as they called his name.

"All Might...!"

She felt her body grow rigged as she watched the villain's arm grow, bone, veins, and so much more being seen peeking through his limb. She watched as All Might's hand was surrounded in yellow, his own growing. They connected fists, and Coy felt her legs give out as she gripped at her skirt, her jawed locked and her teeth clenched. Their blows continued, and just when All Might looked ready to collapse. He further showed why there were so many looking up at him.

And as the smoke cleared, the villain could be seen lying unconscious.

All Might's arm slowly raised, and his fist could be seen.

He won.

Coy felt the tears of relief replace the ones of worry and sadness. And she was left to silently sob as she lowered her head. Her forehead resting on the floor, her shoulders shaking, and her throat burning.

"Victory for All Might!"

He won.
