Coy...

It had been a week since Coy's disappearance, and the heroes and police were at a large bump in the road. They didn't know what to do. Coy's disappearance was sudden and there were no clues leading up to her disappearance. They had questioned the civilians Coy saved, several times, asking what happened just before she told them to run, as they said she had done. But all they gave were the same answers.

"It was a man. Maybe? I couldn't tell. But they were dark, and tall! But... But that's all I could look at before that girl was standing in front..."

"I don't know.... they were dressed in black. I couldn't see their face. And I think they were tall. Like, six feet? I couldn't tell much. Everything was blurry and the smoke was in the way."

"I already told you! They were dressed in black. It looked like a man. I'm pretty sure they wore some type of mask? I don't know. The girl sent us off before I could see all that much."

The authorities could get nothing from that description and were put to a pause.

With Coy's disappearance, also brought terrible air. Her classmates were lost and worried. They wanted to go out there and help look for her! They wanted to help the search. But they were left on strict watch by their teachers, unable to leave the dorms without someone there to supervise.

The heroes, thought the League was the cause. After all, they've kidnapped a student before. But, Coy's friends and family thought otherwise.

"I know it's him! That bastard took her!" Akil shouted for the umpteenth time, stumbling on his feet as he seethed, Aanu rushing to her feet to help stable and support him.

"Sir, please calm down━━"

"You expect me to be calm?!" Akil's voice was loud and shaky, eyes wide with anger and glossy with worry, "you guys aren't doing shit to find my little sister, and you expect me to be calm?! Bullshit!"

"Akil!" Adila scolded, looking up at her son, but Akil ignored her, pushing Aanu off him as he grabbed his cane, using it to march out of the room, face scrunched in anger and body shaking as he moved as fast as he could with his injury. Aanu ran after her brother, while Adila watched her children, sitting back with a sigh and hiding her face in her hands. Tsukauchi was quiet as he watched the family; they were falling apart with the loss of their youngest. He was well aware of the girl's back story, and what her father did. He believed the family; they knew Coy and understood the man that tormented them, but he also couldn't do much without any leads.

Sat in a chair a few steps away from Adila, was Uraraka, the girl glancing down at her lap, wringing her hands together and clenching tightly at the crumbled and burnt pieces of paper in her hand. Eyebags had formed under her eyes, and her eyelids were dropped in exhaustion. It was obvious Coy's kidnapping had taken the hardest toll on the brunette. She was beating herself up in more ways than one. ━━She was only so many feet away from Coy when she was taken, she could've stopped it, she could've saved her. But she didn't━she didn't even know that Coy was in danger. She should've realized it was a trap! And now she's forced to sit here as the police and heroes are forced to a frustrating dead end.

Uraraka didn't know much about Coy's father like Jiro or Momo did. They were the closest to her and knew much more about Coy's background. Uraraka was only aware that he had been to jail for harm he caused to her and the family, but had escaped not too long ago. And she, like the Yoshino family, Jiro, and Momo, believed that it was indeed her father who took her. He was there during the rescuing of Eri, so who's to say he hadn't been there the entire time? Watching Coy and waiting for his time to act.

"It's him!"

They would say several times. But the police chose to ignore what was obvious. And it was incredibly frustrating for all of them. They just wanted to find Coy, they wanted to keep her safe, ━each of them feeling a certain way.━ Akil and Aanu wanted to protect Coy, something they couldn't do all those years ago, and Adila didn't feel too far off from the same thing. ━━Uraraka wanted her girlfriend back. Coy cheered her on when they didn't even really know each other, she trusted her when she couldn't trust anyone else. And when Uraraka confessed, Coy still opened up despite her fear. And now, when the two were just starting to figure things out with one another; when they were becoming something to each other; things were quickly crushed, and they were pulled further apart.

And although Uraraka didn't know what to feel, she knew she was angry and afraid.

"Uraraka?" Midoriya called, voice cautious as the brunette entered the dorms, walking sluggishly, head tilted downwards and her eyes downcast. She came to a short stop at the call of her name, but didn't look up at her friend as everyone in the commons looked back at her with worry, Midoriya unsure if he should approach as he asked, "how did... how did things go at the station?"

Uraraka just barely lifted her head, peaking past brown strands of hair with tired eyes, gripping the pages in her hand, "they still haven't found anything."

The class knew how bad the toll was on Uraraka after the girl she was so head over heels for was taken. ━━Many would even go as far as to say they were in love. Because, they were.━━ All of them could see how much the two girls cared for each other, they were practically inseparable.

"I'm calling it in early. See you guys tomorrow." Uraraka mumbled, turning away from the group and beginning towards the elevator. A few of the students, ━Midoriya, Iida, Mina and Kirishima, seemed ready to stand and go after her, in hopes of comforting her, before they were stopped by Momo, Jiro, Bakugo and Todoroki. The four shaking their heads, telling them how much of a bad idea it was.

Uraraka entered her dorm room with a heavy sigh. She shut the door, causing her room going back to its gloomy, dark state, other than the light from the moon shining through the balcony door. Hazel eyes landed on three pairs of glowing eyes through the darkness, causing her to sigh once more, walking up to her bed and falling back onto it.

Amarok shifted, resting his head on the futon beside the girl, while his body stayed on the floor, whining softly, and Uraraka turned her head, raising her hand to pet at the wolf's head as Syrax and Anzu moved close, the three myths cuddling up to the futon, "nothing, yet, guys... I'm sorry..." Amarok and Anzu grumbled at the girl in hopes of reassuring her as Syrax moved to the head of the bed, resting her head near the girls, hissing softly.

Uraraka felt her throat grow heavy, eyes growing glossy, resting her arm over her eyes, gripping the papers in her hands, ━━she hadn't let the note pages go since Coy's disappearance. It was the only thing she had of Coy, other than the three myths,━━ "I'm so sorry..." She croaked, lowering her hand as she sat up, curling herself into a ball and cradling the notes to her chest. Her glossy hazel eyes stared down at the messy, yet neat writing on the pages. One page was burnt and crumpled, having gone throught a lot, yet still holding together. The writing on it was hard to read, some of the ink smudged or burnt off, but Uraraka had the words printed permanently in her brain. They were the words that had her first falling for Coy.

"Good luck... I believe you can win..."

Uraraka whispered softly, the tears in her eyes fogging up her vision, a small sob leaving her, causing the three myths to whine and groan, growing close to the girl. ━━The myths all understood where the brunette was coming from. They, too, blamed themselves for the girl's disappearance. Each of the creatures promised to protect Coy, especially from her father, but each of them failed, and neither of them could find the girl. They tried connecting to her, calling out to her, but she never responded, whoever had her, ━and they all knew who━, was keeping them from finding her.━━

"I'm so sorry, Coy... I'm so sorry...!" Uraraka sobbed, Amarok whining as he nuzzled his head against her leg, Anzu doing the same as Syrax curled herself around all of them, the three leaning close as the brunette cried after reading over the notes in her hands.

"It's okay to let go, you know? It's just one loss. Don't hold it in....cry."
