"Hey Kiddo!" Akil greeted the girl, holding tightly onto the rails, a nurse holding her hands to him in case he fell.

Coy waved, nodding to the nurse who had been assigned to help her brother.

After her brother was attacked, it had turned out much worse than expected. His spine was greatly injured, and the doctors believed he wouldn't be able to walk again. But Akil, and Coy knew, was strong, he didn't like to think of the impossible. And although many seen that as Akil just being ambitious, she knew that wasn't the case at all, there was a reason behind it, a big one.

"How're things going with practice? Sorry I can't be there to watch you."

Coy shook her head, watching as he pushed himself to try and walk.

Akil was the first she told about the school festival, and their performance they planned, he was excited to hear that she was the one to offer herself to play guitar. But when he tried to talk to the doctors about leaving on the day of the festival, he was declined due to his still very much unstable condition, and needing to remain on medical watch. He was disappointed, and Coy knew that.

"I found a way for you to see it without leaving the hospital." Akil froze, blinking at the girl in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

Coy had talked to Nezu, and although it took a lot of convincing, she was able to get his permission to have it filmed live for Akil, allowing him to watch it from the safety of the hospital, and allowing him to cheer his sister on.

And Coy could've sworn Akil was going to cry.

Coy looked down at the bright orange shirt, tilting her head. She liked it, and she liked that she matched with her friends and classmates.

"Orange looks really good on you, Coy!" The girl looked up, tilting her head at Uraraka.

Uraraka seemed to panic as Coy stared at her, "I-I mean, not like I doubted you wouldn't or anything━━ You look great in anything! A-and━━" Coy smiled in amusement, letting out a silent giggle that had the brunette's face flushing a deep pink. Her mouth went dry and she pointed over at Ashido and Hagakure, "I-I-I'm━━ I'm gonna go━━ go over there...!"

She turned quickly, taking quick steps as she sped towards her friends, her face burning and her ears red. Ashido and Hagakure took notice to her flustered form, and they grinned ━━━well she assumed Hagakure was grinning, being unable to see her━━━ as she stopped in front of them.

"Man," the raccoon eyed teen chuckled, "you've got it bad."

"Shut up." Uraraka pouted.

Everyone had begun to grow worried as the time passed. Why? Because Midoriya still had yet to show after going to get the rope for the performance.

Coy stood at the entrance to U.A alongside Aoyama, her leg bouncing anxiously as she waited for the familiar greenete to show. The worry that clouded her heart cleared slightly as the familiar teen ran towards them, followed by Ectoplasm. He seemed incredibly beat up, but waved it off with the excuse that he fell, though Coy could tell that was a lie. But she let him be as she dragged him to Recovery Girl for a quick healing, before pushing him to the gym.

Coy breathed deeply as the lights went out, and curtains slid open, showing her and the rest of her class to the students that had gathered for the performance.

"Oh my, Coy really is up there..."

"Yeah! Coy! That's my little sister!"

"Akil...keep your voice down."

"WE'LL KILL 'EM WITH OUR SOUND!"

Coy grinned, running the pick across the guitar strings as the lights flickered, and smoke filled the stage at the loud explosion that set their performance off.

"THANKS FOR COMING TODAY!"

Kyouka yelled into the mic, her voice echoing through the gym as she began to sing.

Coy felt her lips twitch as she played alongside her friends, and she looked up, the usual dull look in her eyes, now a much more noticeable shine.

She was having fun.

Coy watched the crowd stare in awe as Midoriya helped Aoyama, throwing him into the air, and allowing him to release lasers that lit up the room, releasing raining sparks of light.

"OH! HERO TOO! I AM A HERO TOO!"

Coy and Momo raise their hands simultaneously, and a small, swirling portal formed above the stage. And as Momo released confetti from the canon on her arm, doves, that seemed to shine as the light hit them, flew form the portal, following the colorful thin papers, flying over the crowd. Aoyama flew over the crowd, his lasers allowing the translucent doves to shimmer even more, the ice shaves hitting their clear feathers.

Coy's playing hit faster against the strings as she threw her head back, and.....she smiled.

A genuine smile. Nothing like the usual small lift of her lips. It was a smile, one she didn't know she could make. Not after everything that happened.

And she hoped Eri was the same.

Coy's fingers froze as she panted, looking back at her band mates, her eyes shining and the smile still on her face, even as they ended the performance and they closed the curtain.

Coy kept her smile.
