"This nice asf who's is this" I asked as we sat at the Arcade table letting the kids eat.
"AK's" Kaysen said taking some kids pizza
"Hey that's mines" some little girl pouted
"Shut up" he told her
"That's rude" Bunny slapped his arm
He shrugged sitting down
I shook my head sitting the chain down.
"You like it" AK'a voice rung out from behind me
I didnt say anything.
"Kasiyah you can't keep ignoring me" he said grabbing the chain and putting it around my neck
I shook my head.
I tried taking the chain off but he popped my hand.
"Keep it"
"No" I mumbled still trying
"Just fucking keep it" he said
I shook my head grabbing my phone texting Nasir to see if him and Makiya was cool.
"Can we talk" he sat next to me
I looked the other way.
"Please bro just let me talk to you" he sat beside me staring at my face.
"Come on kids whoever beat me in basketball can get more pizza and 50 dollars" Kaysen stood up making all the kids say "meee" and follow after him
"Go with Uncle Kaysen, Saint" AK turned to him
I put my head down and sighed.
"Kasiyah" he tapped me
"What AK" I grumbled
"I'm sorry dude, it ain't mean nothing. I want you and only you. Can we please work on us dude"
"Nah" I shook my head
"Why not Kasiyah do you not see me making an effort I'm trying bro" he knocked something off the table
"I don't give a fuck I'm not asking you to try. You hurt me not the other way around. I been hurt my whole life! I thought you was gone be different, I gave you a chance you fucked it up, that's your fault not mines, so fuck you AK" I stood up grabbing my purse and heading for the door
He jogged after me and grabbed my arm.
"Kasiyah" he sighed
I stared at him before looking away.
"Leave me alone" I said not making eye contact
"Listen. We not done. We can't be done so ima see you later tonight after I drop Saint off with My grandma" he said
"We are done" I mumbled
"Omm we not" he walked away.
I shook my head and tried getting me a Lyft.
The closest one was an hour away. Definitely not waiting an hour.
I went to sit back down and continued eating my pizza.
Letting my thoughts get the best of me I felt a tear drop down my face. I quickly wiped it and put my head down.
They kept coming making me sigh.
