Chapter 3- The mining competition

"Healing pods?" "Check!" Ranboo said as he searched there a bag. "Water buckets?" Techno kept reading down the list. Once he was done they set off. "Where are we planning to go?" Ranboo asked. "Techno was going to go to the spider spawner to mend his gear, I'm taking you with me around the Smp until he's done." Philza explained. Ranboo nodded in response. "Welp see you soon Techno!" He chirped then followed Philza. "We are just gonna look around for a bit because he have nothing else to do" Philza went on with the list of plans. By the time he was done they were in the boat in the middle of the sea. "Hey look! A mushroom." Ranboo pointed at a tall red and white mushroom which loomed a shadow over the sea. "Good eye Ranboo" Philza replied as he drove the boat towards the grey island.

The docked the boat and started their exploration journey through the small island. They watched mooshrooms graze on the grey blue grass and foliage, they climbed a mushroom and sat there looking up at the sky. "You learned how to fly again?" Ranboo asked. "Oh yeah, how'd you know that?" Philza sat up straight and turned his gaze from the sky down to Ranboo. "Techno told me, he saw you practicing. He said you looked happier than ever before." Ranboo explained with a happy sigh. Philza chuckled, it was true. He had never felt such joy in a long while. A twig snapped from below the mushroom, they both shot up and sheathed their shining swords. Philza spoke with a defensive tone. "Who's there?" "Relax it's just me" A familiar voice said. A orange figure became visible to the two. "Hello Gradpa" Fundy said teasingly. "Dont even." Philza replied. Ranboo was off to the side laughing, before he was shot a quick glance in which he stood up and stayed silent. "So what brings you two here?" The fox asked. "Oh me and Phil were just exploring" Ranboo explained as he put his sword back in its sheath, Philza did the same. "Oh and Ranboo your part Enderman right?" "That would be correct, yes." Ranboo replied. "And enderman powers?" Ranboo nodded. "Can I do tests then? You know like be in a little cell and that kinda stuff" the last pat he said in a teasingly tone, and Ranboo knew that but he still grew uncomfortable as he gripped his arm tightly. "Hes not a lab rat you Fvcking little sh!t!" Philza jumped in. "Well hes a enderman!" Ranboos expedition chanted to a concerned, worrisome and co fused look. Philza shit Fundya glare which that was able to shut him up. "We'll be off then." He huffed, Philza guided Ranboo back onto the boat. "You alright?" He asked. Ranboo nodded a bit and hopped in after Phil. "Are we heading back to meet up with Techno?" Philza nodded then sighed. "I know your trying to change the subject Ranboo." They fell silent. "If your uncomfortable with it I'll be quite" "that would be appreciated." Ranboo replied. The rest of the ride was just a bit of small talk.

Philza and Ranboo hopped out of the boat near a shoreline. "Are you sure these are the right cords?" Ranboo asked. "There the ones Techno gave" Philza replied. Just then a tall figure appeared behind Ranboo and yelled. "BOO!" Ranboo let out a Yelp of a enderman and almost fell, a deep chuckled was heard after. "God dam it Techno really?" Ranboo said standing up straight he looked at the two older adults who were both laughing. "Let's just get the minning over and done with." He huffed.

The trio walked until they found a cave which led into a ravine, they talked mined, and talked some more until Techno came up with the idea of a mining compilation. They went over to an open wall and started to mine side by side. The rules were simple: stay in your lane unless you see any minerals. They continued for a while, Philza had gotten coal, gold, a few diamonds and one emerald. Techno had gotten coal, iron and gold. Ranboo how ever was lucky. He was getting diamonds, emeralds and gold. He struck another vain of diamonds and Techno huffed. "At this point I feel like a background character" He huffed. Ranboo and Phil both chuckled. "Your just at the point where its foreshadowing the death of the mentor" Ranbo teased. "OH COME ON'' He yelled, Philza broke I to a laughing fit as Ranboo wheezed which made Techno join the laughing. They laughed for a good minute or so I till they started heading back to count the points. "Alright, place the ores in the chest..and whoever has more points gets all of the stuff. Oh and 2 lines of pure stacks is 2 points same for 1 stack of blocks" Techno explained. Phil and Ranboo nodded. "First up, coal"
Ranboo: 2 stacks and 5
Techno: 2 stacks and 10
Phil: 1 block stack and 17
"One point Phil" Techno said. "Next is iron" They continued down the list of ores. The three counted up the points. Ranboo: 6 Techno: 3 and Phil with 8.

Techno and Ranboo looked at Phil is disbelief. "HEH!?" Techno hummed(?)
"How?Just how?" The enderman said with annoyance. "The father always gets his way" Phil exclaimed with a smirk. Techno and Phil started to bicker back and forth as they made there way back.
