Anakin pov:
I scan through the crowd, eager to see just one person. Where is he? Padmé nudges me and nods just ahead of us. Two force ghosts move slightly, and the tears start forming.
Slightly older, the roots of his hair going grey. Obi-Wan.
I let go of Padmé's hand as I take off towards him, the tears cascading down my cheeks. I hurl myself into his arms. Obi-Wan steps back to steady us. He's surprised, I can tell.
After a few seconds, he puts his arms around me. I bury my head into his shoulder, and smile weakly. After a few minutes, I lift my head up and look at him.
"Anakin, I'm so glad you're here," Obi-Wan murmurs, tears in his eyes.
"Master, I... I'm so sorry, I didn't know what I was doing, and—" I say, my voice hoarse.
"Don't apologise, it's me who should be sorry," Obi-Wan cuts me off. "I was supposed to guide you,"
A/N: okay yeah that's a bit short, but are ya still feeling the feels? Cover art by me
