"I want to give you something." Jimin mentions. The two of them are getting dressed after their love making session. Jeongyeon has just slipped her dress back on. She's trying to calm herself, after their intense love making. She's also trying to restrain herself from pouncing on Jimin, demanding that he make love to her again. She needs to rein her emotions in. She still has no idea where Jimin stands, in regard to their marriage nor in regard to them going back to Olympus.

A part of her is trying to call down. Surely now, after their confessions and love making, Jimin wants to return to Olympus with her. She isn't sure her heart could take it, if he refuses to betroth her, again.

Jimin walks upstairs and disappears for a few minutes. Jeongyeon can hear him shuffle around on the second floor, and wonders what he's looking for. She sits calmly, on the couch, waiting for Jimin's reappearance. After a couple of more minutes, Jimin finally walks back into the room. He's holding a small velvet box.

He walks over to the couch, and sits opposite of Jeongyeon. "I'm not sure if you even want this, but I'm going to give it to you anyway."

Jimin opens the box to reveal one of the most beautiful rings Jeongyeon has ever seen. The ring is gold, with a heart shaped blue sapphire in the middle. A cluster of three diamonds adorn each side of the sapphire, and the words "I love you" are embossed on the band of the ring. Jeongyeon loses her breath. The ring is stunning.

"I found this ring in Brazil, a couple of years after I fled. I remembered you saying how much you adored blue sapphires, when we were younger. How they were your favorite gemstones. How much you loved the deep blue color the sapphires held. The ring reminded me so much of you, so I purchased it. I hoped one day I'd be able to give it you. But if for whatever reason I wasn't able to gift it to you, then at least I had something that reminded me of you."

Jimin pulls the ring from the box, and holds it in his hand. He lifts the ring up to let the light reflect off of the large heart shaped stone. Blue flecks of shimmer being reflected onto the ceiling.

"It's beautiful, Jimin." Jeongyeon admits, watching the blue shimmer dance across the ceiling.

"I knew you'd like it." Jimin says with a smile. He pulls the ring towards him and moves from the couch. Getting into a kneeling position. Jeongyeon watches him carefully.

"I know, as Olympians, we don't succumb to trivial and archaic mortal traditions." Jimin begins. "But after living on this mortal realm for centuries, I grew to love their tradition of proposals. They're always so romantic, and hold a deep special meaning that the mortals carry with them in their memories until the day they die. I want that for us, Jeongyeon. I want us to create our own traditions. Moments that hold deep special meanings, for us. Moments and memories that we can carry with us for centuries to come. That is why I am kneeling now. To do as the mortals do. To ask for your hand in marriage, if you'll allow me." Jimin takes a deep breath, thankful that Jeongyeon is allowing him to do this. That she doesn't have any reservations, so far.

"So, Yoo Jeongyeon, daughter of Athena, will you marry me, Park Jimin, son of Zeus?"

"Yes." Jeongyeon answers. Her hopes and prayers finally being answered. "Yes, Jimin. A million times yes." She rushes forward and locks her lips with Jimin. Their kiss passionate and loving. Jimin can't stop smiling. He's so thrilled that he's afraid his face will get stuck in a permanent smile. He's smiling so much their kiss keeps getting interrupted because his lips don't know how to kiss Jeongyeon back. The thought makes him laugh.

"Stop!" Jeongyeon whines. Giggling with Jimin. "I want to kiss you!"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Jimin continues to laugh. "I'm just so happy."
