To Hell With The Dome. Part 1.

Another new multi-part story! Same disclaimers apply to this story, as with the last. This is a work of pure fiction, not meant to slander, defame, harm, nor reflect the idols in any way, shape, or form. Since this a work of fiction, the characters in this story are not meant to be representative of real life BTS, Twice, nor any other idol.

As usual, there will be mature content, and explicitness. However, unlike my last stories, I want to add that there will also be violence, blood-shed, and other uncomfortable aspects, such as death. Please read carefully if you are triggered by the topics mentioned previously.

Summary: Dystopian, AU. Year 3025, a cataclysmic earthquake shatters Earth. The sudden natural occurrence, that no one saw coming, changes Earth. Causing all of Earth's continents to merge, forming a new Pangea. Fearing for citizens' safety and for the potential loss of natural resources, the diplomats of every country come together to form a plan. A plan that will preserve resources, and keep people safe as Earth dies. This plan includes building a dome on The New Pangea, that will house all resources, while being a sanctuary. A safe haven.

Enlisting the help of the wealthiest people on Earth, the diplomats manage to build The Dome. Allowing only the wealthiest one percent of people on Earth to live in this dome, while the remaining citizens of Earth are left outside of The Dome, to fend for themselves.

To ensure that The Dome's citizens don't ask questions about the outside world and its citizens, the diplomats spread stories about how the outside world is plagued with viruses, death, and famine. How their citizens are cannibalistic monsters and killers. How extreme weather conditions make the outside world unsafe to live in, and since their citizens are savages, no one can ever leave nor enter The Dome.

Jimin, having been born in The Dome, grows up learning about and hearing these stories. He comes to fear the outside world, and promises to himself that he will never venture from The Dome, no matter what. He's comfortable living inside The Dome, with his six best friends, and isn't curious at all about what is occurring in the outside world. At least that is what he thinks, until he meets Jeongyeon.

Jeongyeon grew up outside of The Dome, to a poor family. She grows up hearing stories about how dangerous The Dome is. How its citizens are all species of an alien artificial intelligence race. Looking for fresh human bodies that they can use to house their AI souls, thus making them human again. How its citizens are all self serving killers who won't hesitate to snatch your own body from you. She grows up fearing the citizens' of The Dome, albeit still maintaining her curiosity about what occurs within The Dome.

Their life's are completely different. The two of them growing up with completely different values, and morals. With the two being opposites of one another, what will happen when the two finally meet and discover that The Dome, and the outside world are not as dangerous as they were led to believe?

The year 3025 is hectic for everyone on Earth. An earthquake, with a magnitude larger than ever recorded, shakes Earth and causes a path of destruction. The natural occurrence, that no scientist foresaw coming, rattles Earth to its core. Accosting an already dying planet.

The earthquake was so strong that it moved continents. Causing all continents to merge once again, creating a reformed Pangea. There were a lot of deaths that year. A lot of loss and fear amongst citizens.

With the need to preserve the natural resources that are left after the earthquake, to ensure life can continue on, the diplomats from all pre-earthquake formed countries, gather to devise a plan. The plan included building The Dome.
