YOU WOKE UP TO YET ANOTHER HEADACHE.
Your vision was blurred, you couldn't move.
You could only hear voices.
"Y/n.." You turned your head in the direction where the sound came from and blinked four times repeatedly until you gained your vision again.
"A-Armin?"
The blonde boy's arms and legs were chained up. You looked down and saw the same chains restraining you.
"Where- Where are we?"
Armin couldn't answer that question. You were both fatigued- not to mention completely vulnerable.
None of you could remember what happened that got you into this situation.
Strangely enough, no one was in the room other than you two. It was dark and dingy and it was safe to say you hated it. It reeked of decomposing corpses and blood and sweat.
From what you could make out, it was some sort of slaughter house. For who? For what?
The yells of men and women arguing and cheering echoed throughout the area you were being held in.
You and Armin stared at each other helplessly, both trying to figure out a way to escape unnoticed and most importantly, alive.
"Do you think they're coming for us?" Armin asked, his eyes scanning the room.
"I'm guessing they are. But then again, how would they know?"
"I think if we -"
"Oh good! You're both awake," A soldier with a bulldog-like face walked towards the two of you, leering.
"What the hell is this?" You asked, struggling in your cuffs.
The guy started laughing, "Calm down. We're not gonna hurt you."
"Yeah, that's what every deluded kidnapper says before they kill people."
"Deluded? You Eldians are deluded not me."
"So I'm guessing you're Marleyan then?" Armin said, cocking his head to the side, "What do you want with us? Why are we here?"
You were going to say something but decided not to. You knew that with someone that's good at manipulating people around, it was better to keep your mouth shut and let Armin do the talking.
