YOU SIGHED, looking out at the field in front of you.  The sky was a perfect clear crystalline colour, not a cloud in the sky to dampen the day.

The grass was greener and fresher than ever, insects thriving in their little kingdom beneath the earth. The birds chirped peacefully, sharing their songs of affection with one another.

The scene was picture perfect. How you sat there and admired the beauty of nature looked picture perfect. Story-book perfect, even.

Yet you couldn't help but remind yourself that something was missing. Someone.

You'd constantly thought about him, despite the time you'd given yourself to heal.

You stopped thinking about him for a second, and looked to your friends next to you. Most days began like this, relaxing early in the morning together. They ended the same similarly in the evenings.

It had become a pattern that you'd all picked up as soon as you decided to stop moping over him. You'd had your time to grieve - now you could get on with your life.

Because unlike what you'd previously thought five weeks ago, the world did not end when Eren Jaeger left you.

Quite the opposite actually.

In a way, he'd freed you from the constant worrying about his wellbeing, because there were times where you'd stress over him due to him bot letting you in.

Things had just felt different. Whilst you'd missed what you had, you'd slowly started to realise that you didn't have to be dependent on him, because that's not the type of person you ever had been.

You'd slowly but surely started to regain yourself before him.

Slowly.

But of course, it was you. Which meant that there always had to be and inconvenient event waiting to ruin your perception on the good things of life.

So when a shadow cast over you and darkened the area, you didn't assume it was an overcast cloud, but rather, looked over your shoulder to find two tall men standing behind you without saying a single thing.

"Uh, hello? Can I help you?" You asked, cupping your hand over your brows to block the sunlight that hindered you vision when you looked up at them.

The others turned around as well, all similarly confused.
