^ this song makes me think of scenarios and SOB.

it's been a while! maybe too long, idk. i'm probably going to add a more edited version of this story onto AO3 as i use it more nowadays and probably will start writing something else as well.

i don't want to prolong stuff but first of all, thankyou so much for 50k reads!! wow, like honestly i did not expect this, so thankyou so much i love you all!!

secondly, i'm going to be one hundred percent honest and state that for MONTHS i had no motivation to finish this story, even at times when i wasn't horrendously busy i kind of gave up, so i'm sorry.

but then i remembered how i promised an ending and i really do not like breaking promises, so i'll eventually get to one even if it means ending in ten years time when i yet again despise how i word some things.

i've re-written this chapter multiple times, i'm tired but it's about time. thankyou for all the love and patience and encouragement, i'm forever grateful!!!

okay, now enjoy? i think?? shit is going to hit the fan soon >:)
kinda?

YOU DIDN'T KNOW WHERE HE WAS.

You'd all been looking for a good ten minutes now, and it bothered you that you couldn't get to him.

It wasn't that you were dependent on him, but in this current moment there was no other person you would've liked to have been with other than him.

He made a habit out of this. Leaving.

Maybe it was to cope, to clear his head, but not even Mikasa or Armin knew what that was about. He would just up an leave, and when he felt like it, return like nothing ever happened.

You never questioned why or where he would go, but you wished at this very moment that you did, because maybe then you'd have something to work with. Yet you all had nothing.

And he never said anything. So you were stuck.

Stuck looking for him.

Truth be told, Eren himself didn't know where he was going. He needed time to think, to be alone. Seeing that little boy steal to try and provide for his family really put things into perspective for Eren.

He may not of had it all, but he had plenty. Enough to live a good life, it titans didn't exist. But them ...

"I don't know why he does this..." Armin said, his voice trailing off slightly, "Still I guess he's been doing this since as long as we can remember."
