12. The break up

1nd POV (Emiko)

Y/n kept asking me questions Non-Stop, "Ok, calm down, I'll tell you", I said patting Y/n's head.

We both sat down on her bed and I began to tell her everything.

"Ok, begin", she said impatient.

"Ok, so, we weren't really on good terms at the time, because of this one girl that apparently didn't like me. So she started to continuously flirt with him, which I obviously didn't like", I began.

"And so, we got into a fight. It lasted about 3 days, and we hadn't seen each other since we got into the fight, so I went to see him", I said.

I think we all know what was about to happen.

"I got there, and didn't hear anything, so I went up to his room. Just to see him and that girl that was always flirting with him. They were.. uhm, they were making out, and they both barely had any clothes on".

My voice got more shakey with every word that left my mouth, and it looked like I could cry at any moment.

"After she left, I was still mad so I asked why he did it, and he said, 'Well, what did you expect me to do, Emiko, you never do anything for me.. You so worthless, and to be honest, I don't know why I got with you in the first place. And you blame me for cheating? I'm surprised you haven't cheated with any of those boys that are always checking you out..' ".

A tear fell trickled down my face, before I wiped it away, and spoke again.

"Yeah, and he just broke up with me, and that's why I came over so soon", I said looking at Y/n.

Y/n sat there for a second before speaking, "Emiko.. fuck Tomi ok?.. Any guy that treats you like that was never meant for you in the first place. He can go and be with that other girl. Just watch him come crawling back for you saying her misses you, and he's sorry".

I looked up at her and lightly smiled, "Thanks Y/n..", "but the thing that hurts the most, is how you can fall for someone so hard, and for them to not feel the same about you.. even though they tell you they do, they can just leave like that..".

"Hey, don't get all moody on me", Y/n said placing her hand on my shoulder. "Oh, sorry.. well I'm tiered, I'm gonna take a nap", I said yawning. "Alright", she say going back to her room.

I thought about what Emiko had said for a while, 'how you can fall for someone so hard, and for them to not feel the same about you..'.

Her words repeated in my head, before I checked the time on my phone. "Ugh, today's gonna  be a long day", I said, seeing that it was only 12 in the afternoon.

"I'm gonna go out", I said getting a hoodie, and jeans on.

"Emiko, you wanna come with me?", I asked knocking on her door, but then remembering that she was taking a nap.
