"What about this?"
"Yeah, that's fine." Harry said.
"Fine? You've said that about the past 8 outfits." I groaned, throwing my head back.
"Because the past 8 outfits have all been cute!" he huffed with a smirk, while standing up from the edge of my bed. He walked over to me, wrapping his arms around my lower back, while leaning down to kiss me.
Harry's been 'helping' me pick an outfit out for whatever he has planned for tonight for the past twenty minutes, but since I don't know where we are going, I haven't been able to settle on one yet.
"You know Harold... if you just told me where we are going, then I could have done this easily." I whispered up to him, poking my finger at his chest while I spoke.
A smile grew on his face, "but where's the fun in that?"
I groaned for the tenth time, stepping back to pick up something else. The sun began to set, reflecting gold all around the room. I assume that my family will be home soon, and I haven't even thought about how I am going to convince my parents to let me spend the night with Harry.
We'll cross that bridge when we get there...
I ended up picking up a black, ruched dress, and my white air forces, going for a classy but casual look. I held up the pieces, Harry shooing me away to go change, since I finally settled on something. I ran into the bathroom, quickly changing and walking back out the door.
I held my arms out, doing a twirl for him. He was sitting back on my bed, reading my book casually. He looked up as I entered the room, smiling and nodding when he looked me up and down.
"Finally!" he exclaimed, lifting his fists in the air in victory.
"oh hush." I rolled my eyes.
I went back into the bathroom, leaving the door open this time while I got ready. I took a shower before, leaving Harry to read my book in my room earlier, so I finished drying my hair, and started doing my makeup. As I applied some mascara, I heard some movement in my room, hearing some music play in the background, soon seeing Harry peak his head through the doorway.
"I've been roaming around, always looking down and all I see," he sang. I looked at him through the mirror, smiling since I knew the song.
Harry and I's brains are like one in the same. Everything he likes, I like... his music taste matches mine perfectly. He sang the lyrics of Use Somebody by King of Leon while I looked at him with a smirk on my face, pausing with the mascara wand still in hand.
I picked up my hair brush, holding it up to his face as if it was a microphone. He took it out of my hand, shutting his eyes as the chorus began playing through my speaker in my room.
"Someone like you!" he belted. I laughed at his commitment, setting down the makeup in my hand and going over to him and tilting the makeshift microphone down so I could sing with him.
"hope it's gonna make you notice..... Someone like me!" we sang together, him sounding a whole lot better than I.
I popped up on my toes, grabbing his face and pulling him to my lips. He sucked in a breath, not expecting the sudden shift, but quickly melting into me. He leaned forward, causing me to arch into him, while he wrapped his arm around the sway of my lower back. I heard something hit the ground, realising that it was the hairbrush, as Harry's other hand came to the back of my head.
His lips moved their way down to my neck, only lightly, seeming as if he didn't want to leave any marks behind. His lips met mine again, and I felt his hands move down, grabbing my legs, and before I knew it, I was in the air and sat down on the counter. Our lips never separating, pieced together like a perfect puzzle.
