Oakland's POV

Since leaving the beachside, Harry led me back down the empty street, holding my hand in one and his new guitar in his other. We walked through the white flower petals that continuously fell from the trees above our heads, and made it back to the main road.

It seemed much less crowded, as the farmer's market had ended, and there are cars back driving on the road. The sidewalks were still quite populated, but nothing like before. We walked down to get to his car, passing the same diner we were at a mere few hours ago.

He unlocked the car doors, both of us getting in and he began to back out after handing me his phone to play music. He pressed his right hand back on the headrest of my seat, turning around to help back out of the parking spot.

That's hot.

I was caught staring at him in action, and I didn't realise I didn't play anything until he looked back at me with a puzzled look. I snapped out of it, shaking my head, and playing the first song that popped into my head. Cigarette Daydreams by Cage The Elephant began to play, and Harry gave me a knowing look that told me that he loves this song.

I reached over him, pressing his window button before sitting back in my seat, pressing my own so that we could have our hair whipping through the wind. As the beginning of the song began to play, I spun the volume dial and smiled once I saw 'MAX' light up the screen. We began to belt the lyrics as the air flowed directly into the car through the window.

"Cigarette Daydreams,"

we both screamed the song, looking at each other. Harry flicked his sight between the road and me, making sure we wouldn't crash. We both pointed at each other during the next line, as if we were speaking to one another.

"You were only...

"Seventeen" I sang.

"Eighteen." Harry sang over me.

I cocked an eyebrow at the lyric change, simultaneously finishing out the chorus.

"So sweet with a mean streak,

Nearly brought me to my knees"

As he sang the last line, he took my chin between his thumb and index finger, tilting my head up slightly as he spoke through me. He began to lean in, but I pushed his shoulder for him to get back fully in his seat.

"You're driving Harry!" I yelled over the loud music.

I just heard a chuckle in response, "sorry, Babe." he said, reaching over to ruffle my hair as he kept his eyes on the road, making my nose scrunch up at the feeling.

As we rounded the corner that put us on the street of my house, the final song came to an end, as if it was perfectly timed. He pulled up to the bottom of the driveway, and I could feel my wild hair calm down as the speed decreased. He parked the car, and I pulled down the sun visor so that I could tame my rogue strands. I looked over to him as I finished brushing my fingers through my hair, and let out a huff.

"Soon, Love?" he spoke.

I gave him a quick nod, "of course. Soon." I responded, giving him a warmthful smile.

I turned to open the car door, but felt his grip on my arm, pulling me back and swiftly, before I could even register, pressed his lips to mine. I inhaled deeply, savoring every last second of him, before pulling away slightly. I brushed the palm of my hand against his cheek before heading out and up the driveway.

Once I got to the top, I turned around to see his eyes still locked on mine from the rolled down window. I blew him a cheesy kiss, and he reached his arm out of the widow to dramatically catch it, pressing his hand to his cheek.
