Chapter 7

POV Bruce

It had been a long day and after um.... calming down I finally got on the jet with Tony (his suit was demolished). As I sat down I just felt like sleeping.  

"Excited to go home and see her?" Tony says casually

"Nat?"

"No your kid."

Oh man I had totally forgotten about Samera. I hope she has been okay all day. She has been with Peter and I would trust that kid with anything so she is probably good.

"Hello Earth to Banner"  I realize Tony is talking to me.

"Sorry so much has happened in the last few days I guess I just don't know what to think anymore."

We sit there in silence for a while.  

"So do you think she will fit in with the group?" Tony asks clearly trying to make conversation.

"Honestly I have no clue"

We continue to make small take for the flight until we finally reach the compound. We head inside and tony asks Friday where everyone is we go to the living room to find them watching a documentary about penguins. Normally if Peter is around they are watching some Disney Movie or Star Wars.  Almost everyone is asleep or missing (probably in there rooms) except Nat and Steve. The two of them are talking in quiet tones in the corner. I walk over to See Peter and Samera asleep on the couch Peter is sprawled out on one end and Samera is curled up in a ball with a blanket on the other.

"Why didn't you put a blanket on my kid" Tony says

"She put it on herself" Nat snarks. I walk over and take a seat by Nat. "How was putting things back together"

"The usual" I say "How was she? Did she seem okay? Do you think she is okay with spending the summer here? Did she look like she had a good day with Peter? Was she okay that I didn't come back with you?"

"Bruce she is fine and a rather intelligent kid." Steve says with a smile "she seems hesitant with us but I don't blame her we are rather intimidating. You should have seen her at dinner we went at it like heathens and she just sat there like a little lady patiently waited and then ate as if everyone around her had manners. If anything we might be a bad influence on her." Steve says in a teasing tone.

"Well at least Peter is here to balance us out." Nat says "I mean if it was just me and Samera I would probably have scarred her for life by now." 

"No, definitely think you two were meant to be in each others lives." I turn to see Clint walk into the room. "Plus isn't it perfect timing? I mean with"

"Stop right there if you want to see tomorrow." Nat says "So how about we put these kids in there rooms and we all go to sleep"

Did she tell Clint? I wouldn't blame her he is like her brother but I thought we had agreed on telling no one. 

"So what do we do with her?" Tony says "She isn't super powered and doesn't seem to talkative what do you do with a kid like that?"

"well not everyone is blessed with a superhero as a kid" Nat sasses at him "plus not everyone here has super powers" She then gives Tony a look "we just do the normal maybe Peter could invite her to do some teenage stuff with him."

"not to be rude or anything but I think Peter is a little bit out of her league" Tony snarks at her "plus she probably couldn't keep up with him intellectually."

"I think you should stop talking before you say something you regret, both of you" Steve says "I think it would be nice if Peter invited her to some stuff. Natasha isn't trying to pair her off with him. you know that right Tony?"
