Manik's pov:

I was laying beside my princess who was sleeping after being exhausted by crying... and me? I didn't wanted to even blink... all i wanted to do was to look at her all the time.... her pale face... her chubby cheeks were no more... dark circles had came to her eyes.... what have you done to yourself baby.... i kissed her forehead and then looked at her flat stomach.... unknowingly my hand went to her lower belly as my thumb creased her there....

When she told me that we had a baby... I couldn't think but imagine our life with a pair of small feets.... that imagination of merely a few seconds made my heart clenched as i knew that will never happen.... my baby was having a baby inside her.... looking at her face i moved my hand back to her cheek creasing her....

Laying beside her i was just thinking when her mobile beeped.... i looked at the side of the table to see her mobile...

Jeff: where are you? I was calling you!
Rohan: nandini pick up the call!

I looked at nandini and then again at mobile replying them...

Me: i was sleeping jeff, just woke up!
Me: what happened ro?

I waited for their replies and soon got one from jeff...

Jeff: thank god you replied, okay Manik is in New York, I don't know why and when he went there, so now its all up to you, if we tell you then talk to him nandini, plz! Along that you have an appointment with Dr.Lucy! Just call me after you come back!

I looked at the Doctor's name and then at nandini.... she had gone to a doctor 6 days ago! Now again?
Glancing at her i got up and opened her cupboard to find her files... and soon i found them... taking them to the bed i sat beside nandini who was still in her sleep... kissing her cheek i sat back and opened the files...

There were 3 different doctor's files... taking a deep breath i opened all the files to see what is actually happening in our lifes....

After a few minutes my head fell back to the headrest as i looked at her who was coming out of her sleep....

Nandini's pov

I opened my eyes after coming back to the reality and saw the only person whom i craved to see... manik was sitting beside me looking at me only... i got up and sat with the bedrest looking ag manik who's gaze followed me all the while... my eyes fell on his lap which was having my files... moving my gaze back to him i waited for him to say something... when finally he spoke after taking a long breath...

Manik: come, get ready! Then we have to go! You have an appointment!

Saying so he stood up while i kept sitting on the bed... my eyes moved with him as he stood up and then putting away the files looked at me... i showed him my hand who just held it and coming closer picked me up in his arms... it felt so peaceful to be in his arms... i placed my head on his heart as he took to the bathroom... making me sit on the slab he passed me the toothbrush and stood there looking at me...
I started to brush my teeth when he finally brokenthe silence...

Manik: how you were dealing with all this?

I washed my face and told him slowly...

Me: i got used to it now!
